I have three high energy cats whose favorite activity is to slide across my rugs. Cute, right up until the 100th time you fix your rug. I tried a couple other brands, but they just viewed it as a challenge. These ones surprised me. They are a hard plastic as the base of the adhesive, which I thought would limit how sticky it is. It didn't. They attached to my thick jute rugs easily and they haven't moved in the last week. Might not seem like long, but I repeat, THREE clawed cats that use them as slip and slides. I have not yet tried to refresh the adhesive, nor tried to remove them (other than a quick reposition) since I am just happy not to have my rugs in a jumbled pile in the walkways.

Worked well so far, easy to instal. My rug is approximately 6x12 feet and was constantly slipping on hardwood. Immediately this fixed the problem and I only used 8 (two for each corner) so this one package could potentially be used for two rugs. If you need more reinforcement you could always place some along the sides but I found just securing the corners worked for me!
