Not sure why sheerness and thickness need to be rated, it’s glass - it’s sheer... and it’s thick so it doesn’t break when you blend ice and frozen stuff.
Great value blender, the plastic knob is a bit poxy, but for this price you can’t complain. Does the job and is solid and stable.

I do really like this blender. Just what I was looking for. I love it! However, a few months after the purchase, the blender stopped working. I contacted the customer service and a couple of days later I got a brand new one. The best customer service ever!

I have a smaller more powerful blender i use at home for smoothies but wanted a larger blender to use when the smaller one wasn't enough, this does the job. Not great for smoothies though as it leaves some of the frozen banana slightly lumpy. Overall not a bad option for the price point.

I like using it. I have been using it for a month now. I know I can't leave it unattended like other high end products, but then you do pay a lot more for them. If you are looking for something in this price range then I would say it's not a bad product. I have made shakes, smoothies and used it to blend veggies for soups and curries and it is not bad.

This product stopped working after less than 3 months it is only used every couple of weeks and Amazon have closed returns even though Russell Hobbs offer two year warranty DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT smells of burning when in use
