Excellent set of lights, remote is a nice touch but a bit confusing in regards to creating a custom loop
The tape will stick on to any smooth surface like glass but I recommend placing a good double sided tape down first if you have any doubts about the adhesion

Love these lights, I’ve been playing with them all day long. The DIY setting was tricky but I figured it out after watch a few YouTube videos. The only think that I didn’t like is how when I went to take off the protector off the adhesive to get ready to stick, it took the actual adhesive off with it, I nearly ripped the adhesive off half of the lights. Luckily I was able to make due and still able to hang them how I wanted. Just be careful of that. Would recommend to anyone and will be repurchasing them as gifts in the future.

Ok, so I caved in and ordered these for my 10 year old daughter, because 'everyone has them and they're really cool"! She was so happy with these lights. I will most likely want to set the house on fire when she gets tired of these and I will rip up the wall while removing them, but for now, they are, indeed, 'really cool'! Installation was easy, the adhesive on the back of the light strip works well, there is an option to plug both strips continuously or connect both from the power source.
