First unpack all the styrofoam and plastic, then assemble each candleholder (yes! who knew?), three pieces for each.
Try to assemble without scraping off matte finish, and try to get each candleholder to stand straight and stay upright.
Then describe what you've got. There's only one word for it: garbage.
Finally, return these abominations for a full refund and seek atonement for the trail of pollution you stirred in the name of saving money.

I love these so much. I’ve been eyeing them for a year or so and finally decided to get them. It took my about 30 seconds to assemble all three and they’re study. They aren’t chipped or crooked in any way and they have padding on the bottom to protect your surfaces. They’re slim and elegant and I want to buy more of them for other places around the house!

I went back & forth on ordering these due to the mixed reviews... mine arrived in great condition and went together perfectly! I will say each piece has a sticky piece of tape that is painted the same color as the candlestick on each end covering the screw part... lucky for me, one of mine was loose so I could tell it needed to be peeled off... if it wasn’t I don’t think I would have realized this. These WILL NOT screw together if you do not peel all those off first. For the price, they are great!

I was very happy with the look of the candle holders. They are very sturdy. When I read some of the other reviews I was worried about assembly but it took 3 steps and I was done in less than 5 minutes. I will definitely purchase another set of these. A friend thought I bought these at Pottery Barn and she couldn't believe it when I told her the price and that I ordered them from Amazon.
