I’ve got in the habit of wearing comfortable stretchy bras. You know the ones I mean the pull on type. The problem is these offer very little support and I just felt at times I needed more. I decided a comfortable stretchy sports bra would be my best shot. After a long search around Amazon I settled on this one.
It gives a tight firm fit and holds the girls down nicely. It won’t be to everyone’s taste since it is unyielding. But I’ve worn this for full days and found it a nice change. The thick straps come with Velcro adjustment. This means you can easily adjust the strap length to whatever you want and you can do it from the front. So no more awkward twisting. Although if you’re getting this as a workout bra then maybe the bra adjustment and twisting are part of your warmup :))
I'm #200+ and 5 months pregnant. I bought a second one of these right away because I loved the first so much and it's actually so awesome, I workout more. There's no padding, but I don't need to look bigger, I just wish there was a little bit more between me and the outside world. That said, I'm glad I don't fuss with a piece of foam padding slipping around everywhere, and it is very sturdy and comfortable. There's no chafing or poking anywhere and it's easy to get on and off. The straps adjust easily and when they're in the right place, they stay and there is zero bounce. I'm wearing a 40D and running 35 minutes. I don't even think about what my girls are doing when I'm running anymore, I'm just enjoying my exercise. I used to run two marathons a year and have a lot of experience with various bra types and brands, and this is among the best I've worn.
My cup size is consistent, but with this bra it is snug at the front and center but leaves the outer half of your breasts loose and hanging out the sides. No support for the whole chest and no good for the treadmill (and certainly not for under clothing in public, looks terrible in general.) Maybe good for very small cup sizes, but avoid if u are a D.
I ordered this bra in a 40D and 40DD. The DD was too big, the 40D fit. The bra appears to be well constructed and good quality. I have always worn razor back bras for working out , doubling up for high impact workouts. Not sure how well I will adapt to this type of sports bra. The bad is very stiff ( for obvious reasons). I am undecided on keeping or returning.
A little uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. I went a size up from the band size I generally wear and it still causes redness and indents at the band-line after 2 or 3 hours - but - this bra secures everything in place- something no sports-bra I've ever owned before has managed to do. I'm a novice jogger and previously would layer 3 or 4 sports-bras in order to contain the bounce. It is very cool to be able to walk out the door wearing just the one.
