I am a Kickboxing/ Street Defence instructor with a chest. I have spend a lot of money on Shock Absorber and other expensive names. I read the reviews for this bra and looked at the price. Well...I never expected a bra that has NO bounce!. This bra cradled my babies and kept them where they should be! no peeking over the top. Yes I will be buying more! I have told other students about this. Well done!!
I didn't expect a huge amount from this bra but wanted an 'interim' sports bra having lost some weight. My cup size had reduced but not my band size, so I didn't want to spend a fortune as I know it'll need replacing in a month or two. The reviews swayed me to purchases. Initially I was disconcerted by the butterfly hooks, and couldn't do them up by myself when the bra was on. The racer back means you can't do the band up at the front and then swing it around. A little help from hubby and problem was solved, but I practiced getting the fastenings closed when the bra was off (simply a matter of keeping the 'eye' part completely flat when fastening) and on my second wear got the fastening done up by myself behind my back with the bra on, on the first attempt. Once you get your head around the different mechanism it's a breeze and actually much more secure (and with better longevity) than a hook and eye. The bra itself is brilliant, I went down a cup size from an E to a DD (due the above-mentioned cup volume loss - gutted!) and it fitted perfectly. The band size was ideal. The bra itself is tremendously supportive, even more so than my far more expensive Slazenger bra which I hate wearing as it's so uncomfortable. Once on, you'd barely notice this one. Running on the treadmill was no problem and so I'd be confident any high impact activity or classes would be covered. I'm knocking one star off because the band does roll up at the sides a little, not something I've experienced before with a sports bra, but it didn't in any way impact on the bra's effectiveness or comfort, it was just a little unsightly under tight gym clothes. Really brilliant, and makes me wonder why anyone would pay forty quid for a known brand-named bra again, even if you're big of boob!
With regard to fastening these bras (since a few reviewers have included it in their reviews and because they're different from a regular hook and eye opening) because I am used to fastening my bras at the back and because I had a good look at the fasteners and figured out what to do to fasten them before putting the bra on, I am easily able to put these bras on opened and then fasten them when on. My issue is if I try to fasten the top of the two fasteners first, then it becomes a challenge - same as with all bras for me. If I always fasten the bottom one first, the top one goes in easily. I found I could either slide the raised button bits into the slide-in holes or alternatively, push/pop fasten them in. Regarding sizing, I had read reviews that they come up a bit big, so as a 36D, I ordered a 34C and it's perfect for me. These are the best sports bras I've ever found. Have been searching for a while in sports stores and online They are nice and high, so you don't show a cleavage. The material is wide around your sides and back, where it needs to be to support you, without squeezing you uncomfortably at all anywhere. Very good material. I wash in the machine on a cool wash right after using and they're as good as new. I bought 3 in various colours. I use mine for hot yoga - I was experiencing way too much cleavage in many postures with other sports bras. These have solved the problem. They're comfy.
I orgainally order the 34E but it was too small, so I made contact with the seller who was very kind enough to offer to give me a part refund or exchange the bra, so I optioned to have the bra changed and they suggested that I keep the other one so I didnt need to encure any postal charges.
I ordered the next size up and it arrived yesteday and fits very well and I used it this morning for my workout session so all in all very pleased and I would definiately recommend this seller to my family and friends and would consider using them again great customer service.
I do a lot of high intensity workouts, a lot of running and jumping. And this bra has made working out so much easier and comfortable. Just to be clear it is not a bra that "you don't even feel like you're wearing a bra", no, you feel it, it's great coverage and it fits slightly tight but it's a comfortable tight for me. I wasn't looking for comfort as much as support and I got what I needed. There still is a slight bit of jumping, I mean it's impossible to not have any especially if you have bigger size breasts. We just have to deal with it as women, even men have jumping pectoral when doing high intensity activities. Overall I'm really happy with it, I even bought a second bra. And it's great value for money, you really don't need something expensive to do the job
A very comfortable sports bra for high impact exercise and running. I'm really fussy about sports bras and thought I'd give this one a try and I am delighted and have purchased a few more. Great value and no movement when running. The only very slight issue is that the fastener is very fiddly but once on I highly recommend.
This is a good quality product and easy to do up as it has a regular bra strap fitting at the back. Size-wise, I'd say it's generous (at least on the 32C size) rather than skimpy so feels more relaxed fit than my regular bras. I have yet to use it for riding, which is what I bought it for, but jumping up and down felt very secure. I am buying a second in a different colour for a planned riding holiday. Recommend.
I have tested this bra on interval running sessions and a long run, definitely keeping my pair in place more than my previous Shock Absorber bra. Very comfortable, apoears a good quality and decent price too, most sports bras are silly overpriced. Cons - have washed the bra now 2 times, it seems to be loosing shape a bit, I've noticed around chest it is starting to get looser, I am now having to use second row of hooks to fasten it, but looks like might need to go even tighter (I havent lost any weight I am sure of it)
Overall a good bra, after few negative feedbacks I have red I was worried of my purchase. Fits true to bra size and offers full coverage for that bounce control. Will test it for few more running sessions before purchasing another pair.
After years of being a loyal shock absorber buyer, I was begrudging the increasing cost of one of their bras. I saw these, read the reviews, and thought for £16, it was worth the risk. I took on board all the advice about sizing down and went to a 32DD from a 34E. Perfect!
Not going to lie when it arrived I thought it looked far too big, but once the girls were tucked in, they weren't going anywhere. Did a run in them and I'm really impressed. No running, no discomfort, no bounce.
Well made, very comfy. Dont like the plastic hooks/eyes, but they do up the same way as metal ones. I like that its VERY easy to put on, no tight dragging over head/body. Though you do have to do up behind, no wazzing round from the front! Bought blue too, and that had usual metal hooks/eyes. Might want to go down two cup sizes if bounce (or lack of) is critical. I bought 32e as there was no F, is great for my martial arts, though think maybe not so good for running? So comfy i wear as normal day bra too.
