Lovely shoes, but poor fit.

I am a UK size 7, but have one foot smaller than the other, with my right being more of a 6.5. I usually wear size 7 shoes most of the time without issue. I ordered a 7, but unfortunately, the fit was too loose on the right foot to the degree that it would just slip off my heel when taking a step. On my left foot, the big toe was squashed from above. The length wasn't the issue, it was more the depth that was a problem. Sadly that means I cannot go down a size as the big toe was already uncomfortable! A great shame as these are LOVELY shoes! I've been looking for something light and well ventilated for summer woodland walks as my feet get hot, so these looked perfect. I think had they fit, they would have been very comfortable. The listing states they have a leather insole, but they are in fact 100% synthetic, so unlike Salomon's usual offerings, they are vegan friendly too! (Don't know about the glue though). A shame they didn't fit. Back to the drawing board!
