NOTE: This applies only to Amazon Warehouse purchases. Everything looked good until I went to attach the back wire cover, it would not fit; first red flag. Then I went to set the windows resolution and it maxed out at 3840x1080 instead of 5120x1440. Then I checked the menu information and it confirmed this model is the older version and not the more expensive one that I paid for. I should have known better, amazon warehouse has ripped me off in the past. Only has one star because it made me pick one star to post.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well, that was a huge let down from Samsung

I was hesitating between Dell's U4919DW QHD IPS display and Samsung's CHG90 FHD VA.
Samsung's VA and FHD made me tip towards Dell. Also, I've always had Dell Ultrasharp monitors and never was disappointed.

But then Samsung released the CRG90 with QHD resolution, the same 1800R curve (vs Dell's 3800R) and high refresh rate. Totally won me over and bought it right away.

Box came in with no damage and obviously never opened before. So I was happy with that.
Assembly was quick and easy. Never actually touched the display until it was on my desk.

Then I noticed huge hand prints all over the left and right edges of screen. There were not bare oily hand prints, more dusty glove prints from whoever packaged it. A quick dust off with microfiber cleaned them right up.

Struggled a lot with the provided cables. Power is only 5 feet. Considering the routing in the back panel and through the mount's arm, nearly 2 feet are already gone. So you better have an outlet nearby.

DP, HDMI and USB cables are 6 feet each. Pretty standard but again, this monitor is huge; 4 feet across so again with the routing through the back panel and arm, there' no a whole lot of room to do good cable management.

But, with a bit of patience and reorganizing the desk, all worked out fine.

Then I plugged it in the PC using the provided DP cable, wow was I amazed at the.... CRAZY BRIGHT, PERMANENT LIGHT STREAK IN THE BOTTOM CENTER OF THE MONITOR!!

So I'm returning the unit for a refund. Still wondering if I'll replace it or buy a Dell U4919DW instead

UPDATE:
Amazon has make it super easy to exchange the unit. Got the new one and it's perfect.
Of course there's a lot of backlight bleeding, and the colors are no where near what an IPS can deliver. But I knew that when I decided to go VA. Oh and gaming on this is insane!

So, adjusted for 4 stars. The fifth star would have been for longer cables. At that price, I would've expected as much.

This monitor is huge and heavy, make sure you have a big strong desk to hold it. It is the same size as having two seperate 27 inch monitors side by side.
You should also make sure that you have a minimum of an RTX 2080 or you will not be able to push the native 5120px1440px120hz.

I was lucky since mine has no backlight bleed or dead pixels like some others have had.
Only real complaint I have is that some games have stupid developers that intentionally block you from using the native resolution (such as Blizzard's Overwatch) and leave you with black bars on the left and right of the monitor (the developers of Overwatch responded saying that a wide resolution gives an 'unfair advantage' which is nonsense since they could simply allow others to just run an ultrawide resolution on their standard monitor).
Luckily there are good developers out there (such as psyonix, which made rocket League) which allow you to use any resolution you want.
