I usually buy the Shock Absorber Active D+ bra in a 30E but they seem to be discontinuing it. I got this one in the same size and the band is TINY. For comparison I compared it to a new Active D+ bra, same brand, same label size, except there is at least a 2inch difference in the band. I can't return as I'm still self-isolating and don't want to go to the post office. I just assumed I'd be safe sticking with the same size in the same brand. Apparently not. If you buy this bra go up at least one back size and adjust the cup size accordingly.
I must say the main reason I bought it is the zumba classes I just started. So I read the reviews. Most of them said about the size problem which you have to take it a size bigger. Although I found it more useful when a girl said she usually buys from M&S I took her advice and got my sports bra. It's a bit tight on the back but I am certain if I had taken a size bigger it would not fit perfectly.
Other than that I would recommend it for anyone who is looking forward to buy a good quality sports bra.
I got the bra in my usual size and it fits well around the back, it wasn't too tight. I'm aware some other reviews suggest sizing up, so maybe your best bet is to try a couple of sizes and send one back. However the straps don't fit me at all; even on the tightest setting, the straps are 3 inches too long for me, which means that the bra isn't supportive for high impact exercise. This could be to do my height (5ft3), I haven't seen other people report this issue? I would like to return the product, but I've taken the tags off so not sure I can?
I am a 30E and finding sports bras is a nightmare, but this is the worst so far. The band is at least two sizes too small and the upper clasp doesn't fasten properly and just digs in. Absolutely awful.
Oh my god, this is THE BEST SPORTS BRA EVER! I can finally run again! I was an avid runner for years, but after I got a breast augmentation, I could no longer run without excruciating chest pain from all the movement. And finally, after a year of looking, I have found the one! The one sports bra! :)
I'm a 30F (yes, you read that right -- technically a 30DDDD, or 32DDD in its sister size, and there is absolutely NO MOVEMENT. The ribcage portion is tight (as it should be, ignore everyone saying this bra doesn't fit right or the fabric is crushing---it isn't, they're ordering the wrong size. This fits like a GLOVE and it should! It needs to to keep the girls in) and perfect, the snap in the upper shoulders is easily put on and off, and it's just....I'm in awe. I finally completed my first run in years, and with no pain. I'm going to be ordering like, 5 more immediately. I am SO SO SO HAPPY!
I love this brand and bra, I’ve used them for many years, and haven’t been able to find another that quite works as well. They’re quite difficult to get on and a little uncomfortable because they’re so tight, but they hold everything tight for running/HIIT. I often find it difficult to find bras in my size (30E/F) so I was pretty excited when I saw it on sale here. The seller is awful. They sent me a much smaller cup size. Keep in mind I already own many of these bras, and know my size in them, but when I contacted them they informed me that it was because of I ordered the wrong size and that there was confusion between UK/US sizing. My theory is that they knew they didn’t have the right size and sent me a smaller size anyway. Great? So now during a pandemic I have to now go out and return it? Thanks. So grateful.
Three stars because the Bra is very sturdy with quality material. However, it does NOT fit to size. I'm a 30F (in multiple bras, multiple styles) and there was at least a two inch gap between the clasps. I couldn't close the Bra in the back at all. I'll probably try a size up around the band to see how that works.
