I really want to like these mats, the price is right, the arrived quickly, they serve my purpose but THEY SMELL SO BAD. Like chemicals. I couldn't leave them inside it made the whole house smell. They have now been outside for 2 days and when I open the door to the outside I immediately smell them. Still. In open air. When my dogs lay on them they come in smelling like it. They have got to go. Cannot recommend.

I bought these mats to put in the entry way and the laundry room. I could not keep them inside they smell so bad. They ended up on the back porch instead. They smell like hot tires and smoke. It was awful-my house still smells and they were only inside for less than 5 minutes. They also made my hands smell and left a yellow residue on the plastic packaging it came wrapped in. Ugh. Hopefully I don’t inadvertently kill everything in my back yard with their stench by putting them on the porch.

I should have checked the measurements because they are a bit smaller than I anticipated. They trap dirt well and fairly easy to clean. One of them wasn't glued on the seam so I just used super glue along the border, seems to be holding so far. Overall decent price, okay product there's a slight smell but I have them outside so it doesn't bother me.

I think for the price they are very good. I use them for the garage to kitchen entrance and another for the deck to the family room. Some complain about the smell but honestly once you put them on the ground you can't smell them. Unless of course you kneel down a stick your nose on the mat.

Also the smell is the exact smell of a set of new car tires. So if you like the smell of when you walk into a tire dealer you like these mats

These mats are just what I needed to help us all wipe our feet-- once before entering our lanai and again before coming into the house. However-- where the rubber edging goes over the material top there were gaps that would have easily pulled down more and more by wiping feet, had I not put a couple dabs of super glue underneath the gaps. Wasn't happy to see this at first, but it was a fairly easy fix.

This is a follow-up to my first review I had one little problem with my mat and it look like a little bit of the glue wasn’t holding down the mat properly and I just said that you know I don’t want to return it and I can add a little glue it’ll be fine and She said no I want to make it right I will never buy another may anywhere else but with this company I will buy again and again and again they back up their product it’s a great product and I am telling you to buy this mat if there’s any flaw they’ll fix it for you they ship me a new one in 2 days

Horrible Packaging

The packaging for these were over the top. They were tightly wrapped and folded in so many layers of plastic and tape that was hard to tear or cut to get the mats out. This was compounded by the tight wrapping wound around and between the mats which prevented slipping a knife under it and made it difficult to cut from the outside due to the danger if slicing open the mats. The mats themselves seem adequate, but had a very heavy chemical/rubber smell once extracted from the plastic wrapping. I’ve had them outside and then in the garage to “de-fume”. I doubt I’ll buy their products again.

I purchased 2 black rugs like these in previous order & taped them together in home by door to whip off
snow sand dirt etc. I wanted another 2 to make it longer - these 2 rugs I purchased are different & smelled
so bad of burnt rubber throughout the home, I decided to keep them for the backyard porch, don't buy
it, buy other brands - I can't drive & will have trouble returning them.

A mat is a mat.. looks sturdy and solid.. but the chemical smell is the strongest out of any products I’ve bought. It’s like there should be 1 more step that the manufacturer skipped, to get rid if the smell before getting it to the hands of the consumer. Leave it outside for 2 days if you intend to use it indoor.

I was intrigued by the price of these so I ordered two, figuring that I could always use them somewhere. It turned out that after letting them flatten out for a couple of days they were great. Good surface to wipe off shoes, and not too thick. One of the mats had a slight flaw in the edging, so I asked Sierra about it online. They immediately sent me a replacement no questions asked. I highly recommend the mats, and the company.
