The tights do work. Not quite as well as the bath, but did help much more than doing nothing after a run. The tights are a commitment to use. I found them extremely difficult to put on. Pulling them on doesn't work, you need to unroll them up you - remembering that the tights start just passed your toes, not at your ankles. Similarly, roll them off, don't pull at them.
Washing is a problem. These are machine wash at 30 degrees, but they collect any lint from anything else in the machine. These have to be washed alone. They're quite quick drying on the washing line or around the house.
Are they worth for price? For me, probably not. A shallow cold bath is quicker, more effective, and surprisingly more comfortable than forcing on the tights and then laundering them afterwards. But, I can see how these would be useful for the times a run doesn't end at home.
I found that after an arduous training session, a quick shower and then pull on the tights. They are very snug, the blurb on the back (size guide) suggests that you go smaller if you are between sizes ... I'm 5'11 and 80kg and normally take an M ... sometimes L ... so these Ms should be a good fit ... they are super snug, (maybe too many pies) and take a little getting used to, and if you are not used to compressions wear, take your time to build up to 3 hours. The benefits real ... much less fatigue, especially useful if you are training for an event.
They are expensive, but the fit and finish is superb. the seems are flat, the material does not stretch, even if you wear for the recommended 3 hours.
Easy care in that you can machine wash at 30C and drip dry.
