Spandex, Lycra, or Elastane is a synthetic fiber known for the exceptional elasticity. It is produced by melt extrusion, reaction spinning, solution dry spinning, and solution wet spinning. All of those steps create stretchy fibers, which are incorporated into various garments and home products, including slipcovers.

I purchased this cover because my lab won’t stay off the couch when we’re not home. I had a cheap one before that just layed on the couch and it was always rumpled and didn’t fit well. My plan was to use this one during the week, when we’re gone all day, then take it off on the weekend. What a surprise I got! I love this cover so much I leave it on ALL the time. I got the blue (more like teal/turquoise) and absolutely love the pop of color it brings to my living room. I would never have had the guts to buy a couch with this much color.
This cover is fitted and stretchy enough to fit perfectly. The red tag goes on the top left. Washes and dries and goes back on just like it did the first time. I love it so much I’m thinking of buying another one now to have when this needs to be replaced.
The cover has more green in it than my fist picture shows. The cover looks MUCH bluer in this picture than in person. The close up pictures look closer to how it looks in person. The color in the product description is pretty accurate.
In my opinion, well worth the money!

Just the color I expected and needed. I have 3 couches and their average age is 25 yrs old. I have 2 dogs who love to lay on the furniture. So this allows me to hide all of the ugly patterns and rips with easy to use covers. I wash them 1-2 times a week. Now, these covers are stretchy and thin, so if your doggoes dig in the corners vigorously, they can rip. But I can tuck in the tiny holes. I love these covers. Definitely cheaper than new furniture; which isn't happening. 😊 Check out the fabulous 90's plaid.

This fit an RV jack-knife fabric sofa perfectly and the color was as expected. I have not washed it yet as we have not used RV yet since the cover was put on so I don't really know how it will clean or stay in place but it seems like it will stay in place pretty well. I tried many different covers before someone recommended this one.
