These yoga pants are fantastic. I bought a pair to try and they were so comfortable I immediately bought two more. The prices are different for the different sizes and colours so I would go for the cheapest. This means that while I am a size large and bought two greys in size large, inthe black I actually bought the extra large which still fits (but is a bit looser and a tiny bit longer)168
but I saved a third on the price. But I would say definitely buy some, for the price they are fantastic. They move with you when doing Pilates or yoga and wash really well.

Same medium size Spalding Yoga pant smaller than previous purchase

I bought the same brand Spalding yoga pants in size M previously. I compared the waist band size of my previous purchase with the current purchase of size M. The previous waist measures 31 inches and the current one measures 28 inches. It is frustrating when sizes are not consistent as it is a nuisance to follow up on purchases.

La tela es suave y fresca, a pesar de ser algo gruesa, no es caliente! Me gustó el grosor, pues no se notan los defectos como en los leggins o pants de lycra. Son largos, yo mido 1.60, me pongo tenis con plataforma de 7cms, y me sigue arrastrando como 3-4cms, por lo que creo que a alguien de 1.70cms, le irían genial.

Pedí talla grande porque me he subido de peso, pero aún así, me quedaron algo flojos, pero como son para andar en casa no le veo problema.

Calculo que sean para talla 11 (cómodamente),13 (perfecto), 15 (ajustado sensual :P).

These pants are different then the last pair I received (bought them in grey and loved them so I thought a black pair would be awesome). Elastic in the waistband is half the width of the older pair and stiff. Fabric was a bit scratchy and upon inspection I could see the subtle outline of my underwear when standing. So I did a squat test and these puppies are going right back where they came from because they are see through! I wouldn't wear those anywhere without a tunic top over top. Guess I'll just stick to the grey pair I have...

Spalding are great for the price! Good value & quality

There really isn't a great deal of difference between the bootleg fit and the straight leg fit. If buying again I would get the straight leg it as these were very similarly styled to GT yoga pants, which are flared. The fabric was a higher quality and that's what I was looking for, and non transparent. I would buy the straight leg version again, quality is good and seams are sewn sturdy (so the hip seams don't seem to show stress under yoga). I bought a size large bootleg (and a size xl straight as insurance), xl is a bit loose on me, though I measure 38" hip, size L is right size for that measurement, length is a bit more than 32".... I would buy the Spalding brand again, as it's good value. I will post a pic of straight leg vs bootleg on the straight leg version review when I submit that review.

Spalding vs Danskin

Just bought this Spalding along with a similar Danskin pant. Here are the differences:

- The material for both is a similar weight, neither thick nor thin.
- Danskin waistband = 2.75 in/7 cm with a wide elastic that is sewn in top and bottom.
- Spalding waistband = 2.4 in/6 cm with a 3/4-inch elastic (see first photo with arrows)
- inseam is 31 inches or 79 cm for both.
- Danskin hem width is narrower than the Spalding (see 2nd photo with tape measure) but tops of legs are similar.

Anyway, I'm curious to see if the elastic in the Spalding will eventually begin to roll. Had I known that it was not sewn top and bottom prior, I would not have bought these pants. That's the problem with buying online. Overall, I'm happy with both for now.

These are very very thin material. They are nearly see through. You can see even seamless underwear lines through them, and you can see your butt if you go without underwear. They are soft, but do not fit curvy tall people very well, not long enough in the pelvis area. They are so thin, provide no warmth and nearly see through. Could never wear them to the gym. I had to return them.

For a name brand, I was disappointed on how thin the material is. Also I did see that it fit large and I am normally between 2 sizes so I ordered the smaller size. It is still too big and it loses its shape quickly.
I am unhappy with the quality of these yoga pants.
I actually reduced my rating on this. After 1 wash and 1 wear, they are already pilling.

Wow these have changed, and not for the better.
I bought a pair of these a few years ago, and ended up ordering more at that time because they were comfortable, flattering, soft, and good quality. I recently ordered another pair, and both the material & quality are drastically worse.
The pants are now made of some vaguely unpleasant-feeling material, and the elastic at the waist is stiff and thick so instead of moving with you, it digs in uncomfortably as you move around. Online shopping is convenient, but surprises like this I can do without!

Really love these pants, I've bought a least 4 pairs now. Sadly, one of the pairs I received in my most recent order had the stitching undone on one side right out of the package. It was easy to stitch back up, just a bit disappointed.

Updated Nov 17/20:

Since the original review I've bought 3 more pairs. I thought the first two I bought were different, but wasn't sure if it was because I bought Charcoal instead of black as I normally do. I purchased 2 black pairs and got them today, one in M (my normal size, the same size I've been buying these pants in) and one in L. Well the L fits better than the M now, whereas the Ls I had purchased previously, before meeting my goal weight, are far too big and loose and the current Ms are too short and the (new) elastic waistband is a bit snug and uncomfortable. So that confirmed what I wasn't sure about before: they have definitely changed the sizing, quality and length of these pants and I'm really disappointed. Take it from someone who has probably purchased 8 pairs of these pants in Mediums and Larges over the last year, the quality has gone way down and the sizing and length has changed significantly. Unfortunately this is it for me, I won't be purchasing anymore and I'll be returning the medium pair that I recieved today. The Large ones that I am keeping are too big in the waist and crotch area, but the length is preferable to the medium pair (I'm 5'7) so i might need to get the waist taken in. These have been my go to "work from home, gardening, going for walks" pants, but I'll have to look elsewhere in the future when I need a replacement. Changing review from 4 stars to 2.

I don't know what's wrong with this fabric, but it attracts dust and cat hair like crazy!! I bought the black pair and after 1 wash they looked grey because all the dust and cat hair from the house seemed to be on them. I didn't even want to wear them inside because they looked gross. No way that I'm taking 40 minutes to take all the cat hair away manually every time I wear them. They went straight in the garbage. Total waste of money. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 only because the fit was ok, although a little short and made small.
