Best Leggings Ever
Reviewed in the United States on 26 February 2021Verified Purchase
These are the best leggings. They are really comfortable and fit well. However, I’m just under 5’ and weigh about 106 - and I took a Large. I bought both colors.

Quality leggings for exercise—but what's with the GPS numbers on them?
Reviewed in the United States on 11 October 2020
REVIEW: Spalding Women's Sportswear Everyday Legging
MANUFACTURER: Spalding
COMPOSITION: 78% Polyester, 22% Elastane
WASH: Machine washable, cold, gentle cycle, tumble dry low
SIZE: M (as reviewed)
COLOR: Navy
STYLE: Typical stretch leggings with contrasting, wide waistband
MADE IN: Vietnam
My wife is always on the lookout for quality exercise gear. The exercise does her great, and I think most of her peers would envy how fantastic she looks in leggings and a crop-top sports bra.
Since it’s obvious I’m more of the ogler than the wearer, I’ll let my wife offer her thoughts on the leggings, and then I’ll add some of mine.
Her likes:
+ Navy color
+ Wide waistband
Her dislikes:
- Waistband doesn’t fit
- GPS location of the Spalding HQ printed in large block text on the back of the left calf (“What a crass marketing ploy!”—see attached image)
My likes:
+ Attractive appearance and style
+ Excellent stitching and construction
My dislikes:
- Yeah, the GPS coordinates are weird
- Gap at waistband ruins an otherwise excellent fit
We didn’t initially see the bizarre headquarters GPS numbers on the back of the left calf, but it is indeed a weird idea that almost makes this feel like a factory-second that got marked and dumped. I mean, you can like Spalding as a company, but this is too much.
While the fit is otherwise fine, my wife is physically fit, still has a six-pack, and maintains an attractive hourglass figure—which the waistband on these leggings can’t seem to manage. The waistband gaps some at her waist, despite being a band of fabric a little more than 2¼-inches wide and heavily elasticized. If you have a boyish figure and not a lot of differential between middle and bottom, that won’t be an issue. But if you’re more narrow-waisted, you might have the same problem as my wife.
The textile industry in Vietnam has a better track record than China’s, so that country of origin is a step up. I anticipate that these leggings will hold up, but if they fall apart early, I will provide an update.
In summary, if you have the right shape and can ignore the strange marketing brazenness, these leggings are worth considering.

Spalding is always a quality purchase, still...
Reviewed in the United States on 14 October 2020
Grew up knowing the Spalding brand in both tennis & golf. The first racket at age 5, a wooden Spalding, I am so aging myself but the quality of all in brand name began I THINK in the late 1800s? And no, I was not born then (lol) but close!! All Spalding during the tennis years from the seventies to eighties not only in equipment but my related apparel, I recall mostly tennis dresses. Also, I hold the brand responsible for my introduction to the magnificent baseball team The White Sox, my grandfather's fav team & golf clubs, but enough of my memories and on to now... Nothing has changed in high standards of production, as the stitching presented. These are supremely lightweight but sturdy in material, form-fitting yet comfortable yet impeccable in support? The material is not restricting in movement & the selection of Medium size was perfect (Height 5'7 139 lbs). I always long for a longer length in all pants as burdened with oddly long legs... A personal problem only, excuse me! I live in Florida so the nautical touch in a location presented on the back of the left leg seemed intriguing to me in the day of Randonautica's popularity, going to ask a friend who sails about, who knows what might be at the end of the sail into Spalding headquarters! lol Great leggings for all exploration purposes I'm sure, will update if decide to investigate!

Cute. Slightly large.
Reviewed in the United States on 23 February 2021
These are cute and the fabric is medium weight and cool and smooth without being shiny. They are a good length for average length legs I think. They’re a little long for me but I’m only 5’1”. They employ the “tagless” method of printing tag info below the waistband in back. No pokey tags. The coordinates on the leg are weird but they don’t bother me. The print has kind of a tacky feel to it that you can feel drag along your skin when you touch it. The waistband does gap a bit. I would go down a size from your standard. Because of the fit, I have trouble with the top of the waistband folding down right under my stomach. They’re comfortable and cute, just a little odd in the fit. Because the legs and butt are a good fit, as other have mentioned, the waistband is just a bit loose.

Pleasantly surprised by comfort and fit
Reviewed in the United States on 16 February 2021
I thought these leggings looked too small for the size and thought they would be uncomfortable and restrictive. The fabric also felt cold when I first put them on. I was pleasantly surprised on both counts! The fit is snug and smooth, completely comfortable and flexible, with a wide flat elastic waist band. The fabric instantly warmed to my temperature and stayed comfortable. Some silky leggings I have tried in the past always stay cold on my skin. They have cute appliqué on the back of one calf with the location and latitude/longitude coordinates of the company headquarters. Color is navy with white accents. The center back seam is pronounced, so may irritate anyone who has sensitive skin in the lower back/hip area.
