This means you have to be careful about what two monitors you use I had to change my second monitor to a lighter weight option
Please take a look at the product and specs twice before you hit the order button.
So I'm now mounting the monitor and, at it's highest point, its barely high enough (I can still see over the top of the monitor and I'm only 165cm).
The piece de resistance is that the nuts to secure the monitors to the stand are missing from the pack, so now my monitor is flip-flopping around at a dodgy angle because I can't tighten it up in any way.
Complete rubbish! I didn't expect top quality, given the price, but I did expect it to be fit for purpose. It's not - AT ALL. Save your money
I am using it with two Dell 27" monitors, they are 4.7KG so well within the 8kg limit listed. If you want to use it for anything heavier, I would strongly recommend against it. 4.5 - 5kg is the max for this stand I believe.
the good: Quick and easy to assemble. The clamp fastening the stand to the desk is big and seems solid. Nothing moves. Cable management while a bit plasticly do the job well too.
The bad: the joints for tilting and moving the monitors are impossible to keep tight. I have fastened the monitors in one spot and that works for me since I dont intent to move them much. I got the stand just so I have more space on my desk. I tried adjusting the tilt of the monitors a few times, and each time the joins loosened and then the monitor slowly drooped down over time. I fasted them again with an allen key and its fine. Just don't move it.
Fine for a home office setup. You get what you paid for and this is on the cheap end for a dual monitor mount.
Arrived well packaged, but found some scratching on the main post as the other steel pieces had pushed through the cardboard packaging. Not hard to hide (and the post is generally behind the screens) but worth checking for. The finish is quite tough, not easily scratched, so must have taken some transport abuse. No concerns with the durability of the finish with normal use from what I can see.
The screw holes for securing the post to the bracket were a little difficult - one had welding spatter making it impossible to insert the screw. Removed with some pliers.
Like others I noticed the apparent capacity reduction but it's still well capable of handling any modern 27" LCD screen. Prior to trusting it with my 27" screens I pushed with moderate force on the arms and there was no movement. The arm span is enough to have 27" screens with a good amount of angle (certainly enough for any normal seating position), even quite wide bezels should be fine without needing them in a straight line to fit. VESA mount is good, screws are perhaps a little longer than spec so check your screens as you may need to get shorter ones. There are 10mm spacers and longer screws if your screen is curved or has other protrusions on the back. (long screws are 30mm - I didn't measure the short screws before installation, would say no more than 20mm thread length, completely fine for my screens)
Arms were quite tight, it would be easy to loosen the joints too much in an effort to move them and end up with sag because of it. Once they're moved they're fine.
On moving the arms, and everything else: you can get away with changing the angle of the screens (side to side) and the position of the arms (which only do side to side), but I wouldn't expect to be able to continually adjust the tilt without having to tighten the relevant bolts fairly often. The height of the screens is basically set and forget - don't aim to be moving them up and down at all regularly. Check the available height if your desk is low, seems to be plenty of room for a standard setup but if mounted very low you can't make that post any taller.
The bracket only has one position/width (extra holes are for weight saving), the gap is very large and the securing bolt/handle is therefore quite long. No issues with minimum desk thickness but if you use a sit/stand desk attachment you will need enough clearance below and the bracket/handle may end up being the limiting factor.
Allen keys provided for all adjustment/tightening, need a phillips head screwdriver for the vesa screws and a 10mm spanner for the VESA mount - otherwise the screens wobble around.
There is fine height adjustment available on the VESA mount, around 5-10mm for each screen, if you're fussy. It would be fiddly to get exactly right as you have to adjust it with very little weight (like a screen!) on it, and then tighten the nut onto it to secure it again.
I haven't tried rotating the screens (I presume that's the 360° talked about) more than a gentle push which didn't do anything, I don't want to rotate mine anyway.
Overall, if it's what you want then it does a great job for the price. If you want more flexibility, frequent height/tilt adjustment, easier (and possibly more trouble-free) assembly, or just an obviously higher class product, you'll need to get something else. But once installed, and as a static installation (so good for sit/stand, bearing that bracket clearance in mind) this is great.
