Very happy with this light, suits my intended purpose perfectly. The build quality and fit and finish feels very sturdy, except the plastic C ring clips that hold the cable neatly in place are very flimsy and are easily moved, though not a big deal.

It would be great if a future model could be a smart light that you could control the different light and brightness settings from your phone whilst sitting on the couch.

Easy to assemble, multiple brightness selection, very easy to adjust the goose neck to the right angle you need. I find I don't even have to have it on full brightness to make it easy to read under, it's that powerful. It's sturdy, easy to use and is fantastic value for money. My only concern before I purchased them (I bought 2) was the head, or actual light area, it looked really large in the online photos, but when I put them together, they were no where near as large as I thought they would be, maybe because they have a fairly thin head that probably helps hide their size better. I highly recommend this light and the seller as the delivery was very fast and very reasonably priced.

Also as the night goes on I dim the light and use the flexible neck to bend it towards the wall and I get a lovely relaxing effect to watch a video or play a game or read my ebook before I got to sleep.

I don't often write reviews, but I was really pleased with this lamp. Firstly, it was delivered very quickly (not to be expected in Covid times). Secondly, it was so easy to assemble, I did it in a couple of minutes. Thirdly, in the brightest mode it is superb for illuminating my darkish room when I am doing my zoom exercise class so the teacher can see me. The neck is very flexible so it can be pointed anywhere. I think it's really good value and would recommend it.

I ordered this lamp to use as a floor lamp beside my bed. The first attraction was that it has 1800 lumens. It is not cumbersome and the base is not large or clumsy. It fits a narrow space easily. It is also very easy to adjust the arm. to direct the light. The on-off is located in the middle of the lamp; no fumbling for a switch. A mere wave of the hand both lowers and raises the intensity. This is one terrific lamp with promises of a long life (no bulb changing). At my point in life, someone suggested I put it in my will as it seems the lamp will outlast me. For ME, this was a real find.

1st, the packaging is excellent! 2 poles screw together, screw those into base. Screw on head, plug in. Easy. The base is heavy. On a carpet, I am pushing it around, and it staying upright. Not to aggressively tho. Slim, it is not an eye sore,taking energy from the rooms surroundings. The cord is appx 84".I don't care that it plugs in the center of the stand, but for me it works. I don't know about power so unsure if you could use this with an extension cord. I will be using it at my sewing machine.the lighting is very good, and like the different settings that may be needed, depending on the sunny/cloudy days or what my eyes need. i like having this light behind me to see what I'm doing, as the machine tends to block any lighting from the front or side. yes it's shorter but if sitting it will be just fine. I've bought other products from this company and have been very happy. Customer service is excellent. I did not receive anything about a warranty, I believe it's 1 yr. I will be contacting Taotronics. Hope that helps .

My wife likes to read in her chair in our living room, but the available lighting in that room is either too dim, too far away or lights up everything in the room too much. She found the TaoTronics Dimmable LED Floor Lamp, which would sit by her chair and plug into a previously unused floor electric plug under an area rug.

The unit took all of 30 seconds to screw together out of the box; it took a little bit more time to get the plug under our rug and under her chair (and the wire and plug are essentially invisible now). The nice thing about the TaoTronics lamp is that the LED allows her to adjust not just the strength of the light but also the warmth (or lack thereof); my wife likes her light warm, not bright white, and the TaoTronics allows her to make that adjustment perfectly.

The lamp looks good and feels solid, so we expect many years of use. We would recommend it highly.
