How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Something about nothing

I was disappointed. I thought the story very thin and didn’t find any real humour in it. The moral at the end was contrived and the illustrations mediocre. Sorry, I know David Walliams is popular, but I was unimpressed and returned the book.

Top quality

This was bought for a gift and certainly looks the part. A good quality hard back with lovely clear print and beautiful colours. David Walliams can certainly write a good children's book and I am told this has been a firm favourite since Christmas!

Can’t go wrong with a David Walliams book. Amusing read with great pictures. Your kids will love the different animals. Would also be a useful teaching resource about inclusion

As I believe David Walliams is a great children’s story writer he has not disappointed my son was gripped by this and as an adult it’s a very entertaining read.

Thinner and more childish than I was expecting, maybe I should have read the age rating 🤦
