His 99 secrets are a revelation of logical advice based on his own personal experiences plus those of his clients. If you are frustrated,
or wondering where things went wrong with your business, you will find the answers here. If you are just getting started then read this book first as it will assist you
to start out as you intend to continue, down a logical, prosperous and successful path.
It is plain to see as you read through and absorb his suggestions that he has earned the right to share his expertise.
However, what I found even more fascinating as a reader is that
a lot of his wisdom can also apply to everyday life experiences. His analogy in the title of taming the tiger leads one to
think of holding on to the tail for a wild ride when setting up and organizing a business and indeed this can be true. Yet his presentation of
step by step strategies are so logical, supportive and straight forward that you may end up feeling as if you are cuddling a lovely kitten
not watching out for the claws and fangs of business issues. Well done.

I was eager to read Marty’s book because I have heard him speak in the past and resonated with what he had to say. After reading his book, I feel like he told me everything he knows about running a successful business and staying sane. I read an electronic version and am contemplating getting a hard copy too so I can highlight and make notes - that’s how much I like this book. It is full of practical advice and real life stories, well written and great read for anyone who owns a business or wants to!

Just bought this today and I read it front to back. Im a serial business owner and most books seem like theory. I hate theory. I liked his stories and the way he tells them. I recently got reminded of #43 in my business ( only hire A Players) and it was painful. Glad to see Im not the only one making that mistake. Great book, ...the problem is , there aren't enough real books like this

Usually business books are written from the point of a coach or mentor and tend to preach the rights and wrongs in business. Owning a business is not an easy thing to do and Marty Park talks about the trials and tribulations of owning your own business. "Tiger by the Tail" is clearly written by an entrepreneur and business owner. I found it very relatable and would definitely recommend this book.
