Incredibly stretchy and fits loose

I was debating between a size 5 and a size 7, but after reading reviews I bought the larger size. Now I wish I hadn’t listened to other reviewers. These are so incredibly stretchy that I could probably even fit into a size 3!
I will be returning these and hopefully the size 5 isn’t too loose. For reference I’m 5’8”, 136 lbs and 37” hips and 26” waist. Go by your measurements only!

I like these shorts a lot so far. Comfortable, fit right, nice details.

But, OH, THE FRAGRANCE they arrived here with. It took a lot of effort to get rid of it. Washed three times, soaked four or five times in various substances. Left out in the sun. I had another pair of these in my cart, but when the first one arrived so perfumed, I took them out. I'm not sure it's worth the resources and time just to get them wearable.

I have no idea why companies are attaching toxic fragrances to clothing. Even if you're not one who believes these chemicals are toxic, it's not like everyone enjoys the same scents, so why would anybody want their clothes to arrive pre-perfumed? And there is nothing offensive about the smell of new clothes, so what are they even trying to cover up?

Mostly great shorts. I used to be considered "pear shaped" but after 3 kids and a wine affliction now I'd be more considered "apple shaped " ie; big midsection and bum/hips/thighs, normal size everywhere else. I was surprised these fit but they did, but.....the waist is still pretty big. Like, the waistband is gapping, but they seem to fit perfectly everywhere else. This summer I decided to shop for the body I have, not the body I wish I had, so these fit the bill. Normally size 12 jeans but I always size up to like a 16 in shorts bc the sizes run so weird. Got these in a 17 but I feel like a 15 would have been too tight in hips/etc. Guess I'll probably add a belt.

The only thing keeping from wearing these more is that they're not very flattering. I love how they fit and how they feel, but I hate how they look on some parts of body. I already don't have much of a butt, but the way these just lay flat on the body just makes it even worse. The pocket placement may have impacted that as well. But if that's not something that concerns you and you want some pants for comfort and functionality alone, you won't have any problems! They do fit well and are comfortable otherwise

These are a great length and fit very well if you do not have a small waist. I'm just straight up and down and these look really cute on. BUT they stretched out so much that I will be returning for the next size down. They fit perfectly when I put them on but after lounging for a few hours they were way too big. Really comfortable though and the perfect length to be attractive but not gross booty shorts.

Go by the sizing measurements given & know these stretch a lot. I wear a 6-8 in ladies. These are Junior size....a 7 fit a little snug, but since stretchy, I'm keeping them and ordered a size 9 too for a loose fit. I like the weight of this 96% cotton 4% spandex fabric
Update: stretch so much that the 7 is no longer snug but big and the size 9 fell off ....it was huge. Could probably wear a size 5

Love these shorts! I have them in three colors. Most recently ordered the grey but was a little bummed it’s more of a charcoal color. I was hoping to wear with navy or black tops but this grey is too dark. I also wish these would come out in some fun pastel colors. I would definitely buy more!
