I really liked this bolero, and I ordered my usual size: large. Unfortunately, I had to return it because the armpit area was too big and it didn't have a nice flow on my body. I had to hold the front together to have the curvy look. It has some elastic around the bolero and it pulled the material back. Otherwise, the material is nice and it was of good quality.

There was no surprise with this purchase. And I mean that in the best way. What you see is what you get and it fits true to size. I usually wear an XL but I ordered an XXL as I have found sizes to run a little small with clothing. I would have been a-ok with an XL. I am not returning the XXL as it is not overly big on me but I would suggest you order the size you normally wear.

Hi, I bought this to go over dressy sleeveless dress to hide my arms and yet still allow me to be comfortable and cool. I am 5'7" and 146 lbs, usually wear a medium, and ordered this in medium. Quite stretchy! see my middle photo. This is very soft and light; not scratchy at all. I have bigger arms, and this has plenty of stretch. Usually shoulders and arms are terribly tight for me for things like this, but this fit great - I wanted it fitted. I also liked that it was longer in the back - flattering. Very happy with purchase.

Nice warm weather cover-up

Appearance: Very pretty black lace jacket. Bought to wear over a sleeveless dress. Slightly annoyed to find that a white tag with washing instructions has been sewed into the bottom of the side seam, on the inside of the jacket. Of course it shows through the lace. I didn't dare to snip any threads to get the tag off, so I cut it off short and will dab some black marker or fabric paint on when it dries.

Size: I bought a "large," and it fits as I expected. I'm 5'8" tall, about 150 pounds last time I checked. The back comes down just past my waist, near the top of the butt. The sides are designed to be slightly shorter in front. The sleeves are roomy and come down almost to the elbow, concealing my not-quite-gym-fit upper arms. It doesn't seem like it's designed to close in front, and there are no buttons, but that's fine, I just bought it for the sleeves. I wouldn't want to wear it any smaller. I did think about sizing one up so it would fit more loosely, but if I did that, the sleeves and back might be too long, and a larger size would look it would look sloppy if I loose any weight.

Quality: I didn't see any visible flaws to the machine lace. There were two very small loose threads sticking out of the bottom seems, but they didn't appear to be causing any raveling, so I just snipped them. There is a white tag sewn in, as I said above. It's polyester, but not the "sticky" kind. For just over twenty dollars, I think it's pretty awesome.

Washing Instructions: Hand wash cold, hang dry in shade. I washed it in cold water, but don't use too much soap because it's hard to rinse it out again. There is a bit of a typical "new fabric" odor like stuff you would bring home from the mall, but not a "bad" type smell. Strong enough that it did need a wash. I hung it on two plastic hangers with some cloth underneath to pad the shoulders, so the hangers won't leave stretch marks on the shoulders.
