Fit awesome-except there is very little give at the waist

I am a size small, and they fit me quite well, except that the waist seam made that anxiety-inducing cracking noise when I pulled it over my butt (note; 36 inches, never had kids). The waist only has a couple inches of give, because it is a straight seam and not made to stretch much, unlike the rest of the seams (which stretch just fine). Makes no sense, especially for $20+ leggings. The seam still looks ok, and otherwise they fit great, I just have to take them on and off very carefully, which is a bit annoying. Maybe I'm the only one with this problem lol. I'm hoping they hold up well tho, because they're cute.

My only complaint is the crotch lining is minimal (wore nylon panties underneath) and they do slip down a bit. Would definitely buy again.

Going to the pool during the winter is a challenge. I bought the swim tights to make the pool temperature more tolerable. And the tights did just that. HOWEVER, the tights have stretched and faded over the three-times weekly exercise class in the pool.
