5.0 out of 5 stars 55"? No Problem!

I will admit when I first started the assembly process, I was filled with regret and gloom. I mean, just looking at the stumpy, short vertical support column, I was almost sure that this thing was too small for a 55" TV. I have a LG 55UJ7700 and the crazy part is that this TV is not even entirely flat on the back since it has some junk in the trunk at the bottom and I almost stopped the assembly process. But I kept going because if I was going to return this thing, I wanted to do so in good faith. I am so glad I kept going because this thing ended up working perfectly for my TV. It's sturdy and it even lifted the display higher, opening up placement opportunities on top of my entertainment center. The default stand that came with the TV was pretty awful as it makes the display tilts slightly forward - the reason why I was looking for a replacement. This is such a massive improvement. Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for raising my television
Reviewed in the United States on 21 January 2021

I needed a stand to raise my television on an entertainment stand that is too small to fit my 55 inch tv on. So I looked at the measurements on the listing and it appeared to be perfect for my center. When I got the item I noticed it had all the parts to help me get it assembled. The instructions were too small to read even with my glasses I struggled to read them. It should be bigger and have bigger text and diagrams. Good thing I have a lot of experience putting together items with bad instruction. I put it together fairly easily. The one thing I did not measure was where the mounts go on my television. When I saw the distance I was concerned that the frame to set the mounts on would be two small. The listing promoted it would fit up to 55 inch televisions. I measured the distance and it fit with about a quarter of an inch on both sides.

After finally assembling it and getting my Wife to help me get the television on the rack, while my Wife was worrying me about the distance of the supports on the TV while we were putting it on the rack. I told her I had measured it so let's just get it on the rack. Once on the rack she looked at me and said, "I was sure that was not big enough", I just laughed and said let's get it on the entertainment center. We placed it and put all the cables and power cord on the television and all worked well.

I like how this lifts my television up so that I can view it from my dining room table while I am eating over our sofa. Great item for the value. Nice stand that is not too big of a footprint and works well with my 55 inch television.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Nightmare to put together but then so are most TV Mounts.

Oh where to begin?

Firstly let me explain my ratings. Five Stars because of the overall quality and sturdiness. But it IS NEITHER easy to build nor is are the instructions clear. Advise watching assembly videos on how to assemble this.

So what was our experience with this? Well long story short, our previous TV finally gave up the ghost after 20-ish years. Our new TV arrived but we discovered it was too wide, or more accurately that it's feet were too far apart for us to be able to place it on the table we had the old one. A stand would be needed to be able to place it on the table, so we ordered a mount for it.

It took us roughly two days to make sense of the instructions and pieces before we figured it out. Whether that's an indictment of our problem solving skills or of the instruction manual's quality is a matter for debate. Possibly equal blame to go around. But having known people who have put TV mounts on before, people who are much more handy than we are, even they have said TV mounts can be a real pain to install, even for just a simple vertical stand so we don't feel so bad about our own efforts now.

Got a 43" smart TV that was larger than the one I had. The cabinet I have isn't wide enough to accommodate the wide position of the new TV's legs. So my $30-ish solution was this universal stand with the existing cabinet and to not use the legs the TV came with.
Assembling the stand was easy. It took me longer (trial and error) trying to find the right bolt length and spacers for my VESA bolt positions on the back of the TV. The contour of the back of my TV is different from any of the examples in the instructions. In the end I made thin plastic shim washers of diff thicknesses (from a very thin expired zoo membership card and a slightly thicker library card) to compliment the spacers they provided ... works great.
My son bought me the TV as a gift and was surprised such a stand existed. He didn't know I had found this solution months ago . . . I was waiting for Black Friday to get the TV, but surprise! He gave a new TV in Sept ... so I bought the stand.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy and economical solution!

I bought my son a new tv for Christmas and the legs were too far apart to fit on his existing dresser. A quick google search led to this very economical solution. I read a lot of the reviews and was a little nervous about the ones mentioning that the directions were vague and this was hard to put together.

Well, that is not the case AT ALL. From start to finish (assembling the stand to attaching my tv) it took me an hour—and I blame that on my lackluster assembling skills. The directions were clear, all parts were labeled nicely, and everything went together in a very common sense way. After assembly, everything is quite sturdy.

Overall, this is a GREAT solution to having a tv stand too small for the legs on your tv. I’m very pleased and would highly recommend.

When I unboxed the first one, I was a bit awed by the amount of 'stuff' in the box. I noticed that the box had been taped at each end, like it had been opened and resealed. I found a couple of belts of screws, nuts, washers etc. Some of them had been opened and some of the bits were missing. I assume someone had looked at the array, opened some of the cells and decided it was more than they wanted to tackle and sent it back. I called Amazon and explained the situation and they sent me a replacement immediately.
The replacement arrived and I opened it (no tape this time) and 'inventoried' the contents. Don't be put off by the array of bits and pieces...you only use a few of them based on the tv you're working with. The 'pockets' of screws, nuts etc. are marked with identifying letters, but I found that the markings on the pockets did not always correspond to the instructions. I followed the instructions and identified all the bits I'd be using, noting that there would be a LOT of leftover parts that would be required depending on the type of tv you were using. The stand went together pretty easily...I don't work fast and am of the 'measure twice and cut once' persuasion. One caution...make sure you check where the various 'inputs' for cables, etc. are BEFORE you do the final assembly. I found that one of the inputs on my tv would be completely covered by the upright of the stand, so I'd have to make some other arrangement for hookup. After I got it all assembled I found that it would have been much easier for me to install a cable before I put the final assembly together. I omitted to do that...so much for 'measure twice' in this instance.
All in all it was pretty easy to assemble (once I discovered that the letter designations on the instructions didn't always match up with the letters on the pockets) and it seems to be a very substantial stand for my 40" tv.

To give some context, my wife has this thing that I can only describe as an "AV" cart for which I needed to place my new 55" Samsung Q6FN. Unfortunately, the TV's stands are 38" apart, and the cart is only 32". As such, I used this as a solution.
I wouldn't consider myself a master builder or anything, but I know my way around a toolkit...that'll give you an idea of the level of skill you need to put this together, especially with their vague instructions (note, you need a wrench and screwdriver in order to have the easiest time building this).

First thing to notice is that the quality of materials is better than you'd expect for quite literally the cheapest product in the category, and the tempered glass is a nice touch! Setup (which I did on my own) took about 30 minutes including the actual mounting of the TV, and everything is quite sturdy and well put together (just another build note: you may need different spacers for the top and bottom mounting holes on your TV).

All in all, it's an over-engineered stand that allows bigger TVs to fit on smaller surfaces and it does the job it's supposed to do. As this is far and away the most affordable version of this product, I highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolute dream to assemble!

At 51 years of age, I have had my share of assembly projects over the years, and let me tell you there were some doozies (ugh!). However, that was definitely not the case here. I can say, without a doubt, that this TV stand was not only super easy to assemble but a complete pleasure. So much so that I was actually kind of bummed out once I finished. There was not a single issue with ANYTHING during assembly. Every single piece, even down to the screws, looked as if they had been tediously machined for some high-end piece of equipment. There were no stray little pieces of metal hanging from cheap screws waiting to impale my fingers, or hardened globs of paint covering up the screw threads, or anything like that. The workmanship at this price point is just unheard of these days. I give tremendous kudos to the PERLESMITH team for doing their homework when designing this stand and all of its accessories and for the simplistic but very effective packaging; absolutely outstanding!

As for the stand, it works great! I mounted our new 55" TV on it and am so pleased with everything about it, not to mention it looks great, too! If you are looking for a pedestal style stand for your TV, I really don't see how you could be dissapointed with this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great TV stand, works well with 55" LG TV to replace OEM feet.

I used this to change the stand that came with my LG 55" TV Model 55UK6090PUA. The included angled feet with my TV were too wide for my table that the TV was standing on, so this worked perfectly to replace them. In addition, feet that came with the TV had several reviews as being flimsy and could cause the TV to topple. This solved all that!

The stand was relatively easy to assemble, feels sturdy and holds the TV well. There were a plethora of mounting screws and spacers included, which I needed to keep the brackets on the back from digging into the curved portion of the bottom back of the TV. After a bit of trial and error, I found the best combination of screws and spacers that worked and didn't go too deep into the TV.

The only tricky part of assembling this stand were the locking screws at the end. They were easy once I figured them out, but it took a bit of studying the diagrams a few times.

The glass base is nice. The only thing that would make this better would be if swiveled. There are other TV stand options that did that, but with additional expense. This works well for my application.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy support for a new 42" Roku TV
Reviewed in the United States on 4 January 2022

This sturdy stand was easy to put together. There were a lot of parts but each set of parts was in individual bags with a printed code that matched the parts code in each step of the assembly instructions. The only part of the instructions that was not clear was the final step for the two lock downs. The instruction display drawing was too small to see how the oddly shaped pieces fit. I was able to look up an online video that showed how they fit to lock down the TV to the stand. The stand came with several sets of screws and spacers to allow the two support braces to attach to the back of most flat screen TVs. Once the two TV support braces were attached, it was easy to hang the TV on the stand cross brace. The stand has a nice large and sturdy base that keeps the TV very stable.
