I have been wanting to get these mugs for years, but finally took the plunge and glad I did! Love the look and so comfortable in my hand for my morning coffee. I specifically bought two different varieties, one that is a coffee mug (300ml) and the cafe mug that is a little smaller. It is sometimes tricky to figure out the sizes of the mugs as not all the descriptions include it - but I managed to get the ones I wanted.

I was given a set in 2010. Recently I ordered these replacement glasses as several had broken overtime.
unfortunately, whilst the handle is the same, the actual glass that fits inside is much thinner and a little smaller. it doesn't 'snap' the glass into metal. it doesn't lock in. They are OK, not as nice. They arrived quickly and without fuss.

It’s all about the look of these cups - you wouldn’t be buying them if it wasn’t. They are slightly trickier to hold than a standard cup and they don’t hold as much drink - but they look amazing. Have purchased 4 times now - they are expensive, but this is the best price I can find. XL mug is the size you would use for a cup of tea / regular coffee - have added a photo with a small box of cereal to give an idea of size.

I bought this as a gift for a friend I'd met in Tokyo. The mug comes boxed and is slightly smaller than an average coffee/tea mug but it's made from exquisite porcelain. I also love the twisted handle design which also has the ergonomic benefit that it makes the mug easier to hold. The design is well applied too and features abstracts from around Tokyo. Both the quality and design are top-notch as you'd expect from Villeroy and Boch, I hope they'll expand the range to cover more cities.

I've given it four stars, because I very much like the appearance. It isn't all that comfortable to hold even though I am right-handed and there's not much else to say - it's a mug and it holds coffee and it can go in the dishwasher. In this case I've gone for form over function, but then I only bought one and I like the novelty of it.

These Villeroy & Boch mugs are simply beautiful and their design makes an end of meal coffee just that little bit more special, although they are equally suitable for tea or an indulgent hot chocolate (with the addition of some cream and a flake...).

The mugs are made of porcelain and they blend in well with other V&B china I have from other ranges. These are the right-handed version of the mug so be careful if offering to left-handed guests as the curve along the top of the cup prevents easy drinking from the other side. A left-handed version was produced in the past but I haven't yet been able to source one for sale, even direct from V&B, although I am still searching.

The handles are very stylish yet are comfortable to hold, the only downside is that, due to the design, there can be no stacking in the cupboard to save space.

Mugs are purchased individually so it is easy to build up a collection slowly or get a replacement should one get broken. None of the ones I bought came in a branded box; some were just wrapped in paper and a couple were in Amazon boxes inside the outer carton - safe enough for delivery but you may want to get something to box them in if they are destined to be a gift.

Washing up is easy by hand and they can also go in the dishwasher; the handles mean that they use up a bit more cupboard and dishwasher space than bulk standard mugs - but they are worth it.

This was a replacement for a breakage but I like them so much, I wanted to keep a full set. I have arthritis in my hands so personally, I find them so easy to hold. They are very stylish and visitors always admire them. But they are not for everyone, if you like to switch hands when drinking for instance, they’re impossible.

Whilst this mug has a lovely shape
It is very heavy I usually buy fine bone china so because of price thought this would compare favourably as I liked the look of it
Sadly it dosen't other than paying for the shape this mug is very overpriced won't return as too much trouble but can say I will not be using due to it being too heavy
