No fault of the rug, I failed to read the description or it may have been metric or something, who knows? I guess I could go back and read it now but who cares at this point. Except for you the potential next buyer of this rugs!
Pro's: It is cute... It is sort of soft. Cons: It's Sooo Small! Way smaller than the average bath mat. Picture this, smaller than a welcome mat? I can't seem to describe it. Either it is small or possibly I am having a stroke? But I am going with it's tiny as I am still typing. So you will be relieved that I am not having a stroke!
It's absorbent - but won't dry! My first clue of problems was when, in my newer washer - on the bulky item cycle with a few other things - the tub kept trying to refill and get balanced. Washer finally gave me an error code, and I pulled everything out to dry on a rack. Took the canvas bag and cotton socks a full 24 hours to dry, but the mat - 48 hours later - is still soaked. I've hung it upside down, rightside up, and after an initial drip - the water just stays in. Never had a bathmat not dry in 48 hours! Might dry on a 90 degree day, outside...
The lightest of lavenders. About the same shade as my light gray tiled floor. Either they don't like lavender, don't like purple Dye or color blind. Extremely soft and absorbent. New. I haven't washed it yet. Could dirty easily because it's such a light color. Nice that it lays flat to the floor so it's not a tripping hazard. My complaint is the color really isn't lavender.
It has the depth of an old timey shag carpet, hense, you CANNOT and I mean CANNOT vacuum it. I took it out and slapped it against my apartment wall. It is very soft, but I won't get another. It's too hard to keep clean.
Think with little effort it could be a slippery rug. Out of the package on a clean floor it's still moves a little bit more than it should. I don't think it'll take up but a few months and a few washings that this will no longer stick. I will probably buy the latex and re-latex it , but that's effort that I wasn't interested in at this time :-)
the color is dull, it looks cheap, even with a rug mat, it still slides around, as soon as you step on it one time the pile looks squished. the binding on the sides are cheap and it sticks out . I cant think of anything nice to say, sorry
