Does not hold up after washing

Update 4/30/2020:
Now that these rugs have gone through the wash a few times, they just did not hold up. The fibers became all matted down with strings, hair and debris twisted in so tightly that I had to cut it out. They look pretty terrible now. My advice: do not wash these rugs.

I love these rugs! I had been looking for bathroom rugs for a few years. I purchased 4 or 5 others and wasn't really happy with any of them. These are the first ones I have really liked. They are so silky soft and luxurious! They feel so nice standing on in bare feet! They also look nice because they are so fluffy, and I love the dark brown color. A winner!

Not thick at all!

I purchased these mats instead of "Spa" mats that I had currently because I wanted a little thickness between my feet and the tile floor. My spa mats were the kind you find in hotels, flat. Upon opening the package there are very very soft. They are smaller than I had expected and have no thickness whatsoever. I have not had the pulling or falling apart yet and I have not washed them to see if they pill up. They do not seem to move around so much on my bathroom floor, but my floor is tile. I will update once I use these mats.

Thick, rich color, but….

Nice rich brown color and thickness. However, the edge binding is tight and draws the rugs up keeping them from laying completely flat. I hope that will flatten with time. I was also a little disappointed the rectangular rug was so small. The silicone backing is much more prone to slippage than typical rubber backing… I won’t buy rugs with this type of backing again — it might be dangerous in certain situations.

These mats lived up to expectations in both colour and measurements. They are also extremely soft beneath my feet.

They have, however, been pilling almost non-stop since I first unboxed them. The pilling hasn't been extensive, but it is very visible given how light my bathroom floors are, so beware if you anticipate these mats creating a similar contrast.
