I ordered the wrong rugs. I wanted the shaggy Walensee rugs but ordered the shaggy chenille. by mistake. The Chenille were soft and thick but I just did not like their looks at all. They look like a sheet of currls and the backing does not stay in place like the other Walensee set. . The color was the same as the ones I re-ordered but definitely not as nice looking or as safe from slipping.

Update 4/30/2020:
Now that these rugs have gone through the wash a few times, they just did not hold up. The fibers became all matted down with strings, hair and debris twisted in so tightly that I had to cut it out. They look pretty terrible now. My advice: do not wash these rugs.

I love these rugs! I had been looking for bathroom rugs for a few years. I purchased 4 or 5 others and wasn't really happy with any of them. These are the first ones I have really liked. They are so silky soft and luxurious! They feel so nice standing on in bare feet! They also look nice because they are so fluffy, and I love the dark brown color. A winner!

I'm not happy with these mats, simply because strings were falling out from the moment I got them, and they get SO DIRTY SO FAST I am literally looking for new ones as we speak. I realize that they're light pink but I should be able to use them for more than two days without them turning grey. TOTAL waste of money. Not happy.

I LOVED the color of the larger gray bathmat, as it blended beautifully with our bathroom floors... So I ordered 2 of the smaller size (same color) to go in the same bathroom... Unfortunately, they are completely different colors... I'm so disappointed. I had already taken the larger one to our vacation home, so didn't notice the color difference until they were side by side. It was too late to return by then... I really wanted to have other mats of the same color, but now I don't know which color I will receive if I try to order again... :(

I purchased four of these rugs - two 20X32 and two 17X24. I have washed them once, following the directions on the tags. The smaller two came through the washer/dryer beautifully and still look nice on my bathroom floor. The larger two both came out of the wash/dry looking terribly matted and horribly worn. I love this color! It has been extremely difficult to find a rug this shade, so needless to say, I was excited to get them; but now I am so dissappointed. Bad batch? I don't know. :(

Not Non-Slip!!

We have two of these bath mats in different sizes. Initially we thought they were wonderful as the color matched our bathroom perfectly.
The softness was amazing and at first, the non-slip grip was great.

That changed after the first wash.

While the color was still in tact, and the mat was as soft and fluffy as it was out of the box, that’s where our story makes a hard turn.

Any and all resemblance of a non-stick material was completely gone. The mat was only washed and dried one time (as directed and in a high-end washer/dryer) and is no longer non-slip.

This is dangerous for adults and more important for children stepping out of the shower or tub.

Will be returning.

I bought two of these rugs in different sizes because they had rubber backing and were the dark red color I wanted.
They are very sturdy with thick non-slip backing BUT they get all stringy looking with moderate traffic and the fuzzy fibers come loose very easily and stick to everything---shoes, slippers, slacks! I tried washing and drying the rugs to see if the shedding was just manufacturing excess that would come off, but they are still just as messy as ever! Also, although they are washable, lint and small bits of things that are dropped on these rugs stick to them and are hard to get up without pulling fibers out of the rug.
I would return them but they are the only non-slip shag dark red rugs I could find, so...

These rugs are very soft and absorbent. It's sad that they slip and slide so much on the floor. Right out of the box they would inch across the floor while I was standing on them. I tried washing them in case there was some kind of dirt/oil from manufacturing, but they still had the same slip problem.
These would be great area rugs for a front mat as long as you put down a skid-pad underneath. The anti-slip bottom doesn't feel quite like the standard rubber backing and I think it may only hold on certain floor types. Mine was being used on a glossy faux-marble tile. Standard rubber backing stays put for me, but these would just not hold.

Love these rugs! I like the way my feet sink into these thick and absorbent rugs! They look and feel very luxurious and wash like a dream. I’m so glad I chose these over so many others.

After having these rugs for approximately five months and washing them once a week the backing is splitting. The smaller rug is much worse than the larger. The rugs still look wonderful but I don’t know how much longer the backing will last. The smaller rug slides around on the tile floor. Because of this my rating has dropped from 5 stars to 2.
