The pipes are not iron as stated in the description. The piped are galvanized steel conduit that has been threaded at both ends and faux painted to look like steel pipe. The pipes do not line up perfectly straight unless you take care to position them accurately while tightening because the holes in the shelves are not the exact size of the pipe.
Additionally, the screws provided are cheap drywall screws. These are not the kind of screws that are meant to be used with the plastic anchors provided.
At least the wood shelves are real solid wood and not particle board.

I love these shelves! Even though they're industrial-looking, I made them look a bit more feminine with straw baskets and ribbons. I didn't have a lot of room in that corner, so this was the perfect solution. And they were easy to assemble. A win all around.
