We found that even a closely supervised 18month+ can enjoy this 30 piece nuts & bolts set.
Part of the inspiration for buying this was that my son would see me using a screw driver around the house & he would enjoy taking it to “fix” things. I liked that this set came with a wooden screw driver that can be used on the bolt heads in the kit - the look of concentration on his face!
As a lego/technics kid myself, I have quite enjoyed the challenge of building things myself with this kit within the constraints of parts available.
If I were to improve on this kit, it would be to add a few more bolts, and maybe a wooden spanner (wrench).
Overall:
-a great quality, great value kit, fun for parents too (see photo - sometimes I build, he takes apart!) and encourages quality time playing together

- I was dubious that next day shipping to west coast Australia would arrive on time, but it did (well done Amazon)
- most kids can often get bored of a toy after they’ve explored everything that it does. Something like this TOWO 30 piece kit keeps changing all the time, and keeps them engaged longer
