It's very pretty, easy to assemble, it's exactly what I wanted for my apartment. It is true that the star does not have a hole, so I had to make one, but it was easy, and be careful because the star has a lot of glitter. Finally, the description on the photos it's misleading, it says this tree uses 3 AAA batteries and is false, it uses 3 AA battery. And it is not very sturdy, so make sure to keep it away from children and pets, other than that it's gorgeous.

Perfect for American Girl Dollhouse

This tree is perfect for my daughter's American Girl Dollhouse that houses 18 inch dolls. Most trees that I found were going to be too tall. This one is just right, height and width. Plus it comes with fun decorations, a star for the top, and it is pre-strung with battery operated lights (that have 9 different settings)! My daughter put on the balls, and used the bows and pine cones to decorate her house, and she put the presents under the tree. It looks great! She is super happy. This tree came over night. Thank you--just what we wanted!

I suppose you get what you pay for. I think it’s a cute little tree and it wasn’t too expensive, but I was hoping the needles weren’t that cheap plastic. Overall, I wouldn’t have purchased has I known what I know now.

Pros:
Price
Size (perfect for what I needed)
Lots of decorations (most of which were in good condition).

Cons:
Fake, plastic looking needles (see pics)
No hole in star to sit on top of tree (see pics)
Star was a glitter bomb
One present ornament was damaged
Most of the pinecones had all of the string glued down

It looks very nice and has lots of ornaments, however, the star has a solid bottom and i don't see how to attach it without using zip ties. My lights didn't work and the ornaments don't have hooks. I asked to return it and they sent another one, which is nice, but same thing. I haven't tried the new lights yet. Hopefully they work at least. I'll use paperclips for the ornaments I suppose.
