These smelled so bad when I opened the package, I immediately put them outside to air out. After two days the smell was still strong so I washed them separately on delicate/cold. Hung them outside on my covered porch to dry. The smell is gone and they washed beautifully! Very happy with this purchase. I wish the contoured toilet mat was wider, but they are soft, cushiony and absorbent. Will order another color for my other bathroom.

I'm super picky about my rugs being in place and straight so this is not the rugs you want if you like straight angles!! They do not have a rubberized bottom so they slide around on the floor and I'm constantly adjusting and straightening them. We are going to go to Home depot to get some carpet tape to try to keep them in place between cleaning.......

Overall the 3 mats are great Only problem is that wherever you have to fold to get it into a standard washing machine is going to have raised areas where the mat separated from the base. I'd imagine that would happen to most of the memory foam style comfort bath mats. I think they are still good quality mats, just that the washing may have to be done by another means.
