I am 5'10" and 179lbs I also have a bit of middle age mid section going on. I ordered a large, which is my usual size. It is a little loose but I would rather that than too tight. The two things that sold me on this items was the skirt length and that it has sun protection. I love skorts but most of them are too short to be flattering on my not so perfect legs.

Finding a stretch jersey knit skort in a longer length was a challenge. I no longer have to search ... this skirt has met my expectations! Perfect for on the go running errands or even if I do want to workout. Coverage is ideal, as not only is the skirt longer the short underneath also is long enough to workout but not too long that it shows your wearing a skort.

This skort is just what I was looking for. Something not too long, not too short. I’m 5’3” and it hits me a couple of inches above my knee. The shorts do not ride up which is often a problem with skorts. Fabric is substantial, not flimsy, and has a nice swing to it. Washes up beautifully in cold water. No ironing needed after hanging to dry or after being packed in a suitcase. Perfect for Target runs, walks around the neighborhood, and casual meals out. Bought a black one then bought a navy one because they are exactly my style - a ladylike look in a garment that happily comes with hidden pockets for my phone and a small waist pocket for small items like keys or tissues.

Large Skorts are fine - but not good for scent-sensitive people;

Nothing special but I wanted a pair of lightweight skorts to walk around in the central Texas heat - these work. I am 5'6", 162lbs and carry most of my weight around the belly. The XL was too loose while the L was comfortable. Also posted a photo so you can see that the 17" version is just above the knee; I agree with other reviewers, the longer version would be a bit dowdy.

Also wanted to warn anyone who is sensitive to scents that these skorts had a highly perfumed scent, even after washing. It is not unpleasant but I do wonder why they smell like perfume.

I loved this skort. I used it as a swimsuit bottom and it worked perfectly. The shorts underneath were soft and long enough so that my thighs didn’t rub together when I walked. The hidden side pockets on the shorts are big enough that my iPhone 7 Plus fit nice and snug while I walked to and from the beach. I wore this to swim in the ocean and the pool. I also wore it in the hot tub. It was not see through. It has been washed multiple times with no issues or fading. I HATE skirts or skirts of any kind, but this was really nice and really comfortable, and I actually enjoyed wearing it! I also bought one in black. I loved the high waist and the extra length. It was absolutely perfect!

Love the skort but this navy blue one has longer shorts under it, the two black ones that I have do not and I like them a better, the reason could be because I purchased a bigger size, not sure. I still love these shorts because the length is perfect, comes to just above the knee.

I bought this skort to wear golfing. It is the perfect length for me. It comes to just above my knees and hides trouble areas on my thighs while still looking cute and stylish. The shorts underneath are tight enough to stay in place without being too constricting. The pockets are perfect for holding extra golf balls or your mobile phone.
