She blames ruminants for greenhouse gases, but has she ever done any real research? The best guesses are that there were about the same number of bison in North America as there are cattle now, or very close to the same number. If ruminants were the cause of greenhouse gases than why is this an issue only now. Oh I know, 7.6 billion humans and pushing toward 10 billion in 20-30 years. So let's blame the cattle. A similar mindset to the one where a species must be culled because it has overpopulated. Clue, NATURE does not allow overpopulation for very long. We have interfered with the natural balance in our arrogance.
This book reeks of the same mind numbed absurdity as "lowering your footprint". It is not going to work but it is a pat yourself on the back, feel good answer. Real solutions take real effort.
I could go on and on.
You might get something out of this book, but if you are past your teens, you have probably figured most of this out for yourself already. If this is the mind of a six figure corporate employee - yike.
