The bag is made out of a thin cloth type fabric. Almost like the one your suit would come in from the store in the original garment bag. Uses the hangers from your clothing tonhange from the closet rod or hooks. The extra pockets on the outside are ok. Not really good for polished boots, as the mesh will strip any polish you have on them.

I was looking for a pretty basic garment bag that I could either put my stuff that needed to be iron inside and carry by itself or place it within a larger suitcase. This bag actually has some pockets outside of it and when you fold it up you can place one end of it into another loop and it folds up pretty good. The material on the bag is well done and so far after a couple of months it’s holding up very well. I recommend this bag for your day-to-day use and also for traveling, it’ll keep all your suits and shirts you don’t want record for the most part wrinkle free.

Kids and activities! One of our teens needs to transport her JrROTC uniform a couple times a week. This bag has been perfect! Gusset is deep enough to expand so as not to crush shoulders & sleeves of the jacket, her cap fits perfectly in one mesh pocket, BIG shoes in the other . :-) It is very lightweight and breathable, yet quite durable. The handles to fold it are a perfect solution when she is juggling school backpack & flags. It works so well, I am ordering a couple of the multi packs for hubs suits when we travel. This is a little more durable looking than others i have tried. The reviews on the size of the shoe pockets are correct, very small. I can barely get a pair of size 10 dress shoes closed, hoping they do not break the zipper.
One thing i did not realize was how difficult it is to get the suit coat off the hanger while it is still in the garment bag. either can hang it by the hanger or have to lay it down to take the hanger out. Just the way those type of bags are, not a reflection on how its made. I would buy it again for my purposes carrying a suit to and from a event.

Product arrived quickly and appeared as advertised. No hook is included but the hanger is picture in the add so you will require your own hangers and or hooks. They easily slip through the top of the package. I use this for suit transport and multiple other items can be stored in the internal and external pockets. It is a thin vinyl so I am u sure how durable it will be over time. I would not place it in plane luggage but rather use it for car or other ground based trips.

I only used it to travel by car and it worked just fine. I have not used it for travel on a plane yet. It is light weight and and can handle several pieces of clothes. I used it to carry a medium coat, blouses, dress and casual pants and the extra pockets are very handy for carrying additional items as well.

Good product though the picture must show mens size 8 shoes. Mine are 12 and you can only fit one show in each front pocket diagonally.
