No zipper stop exists. When you zip up the bag, the zipper pull comes off in your hand. So the only way to get your clothes back out is to destroy the bag. This happened on every. single. one. of the bags I purchased. Absolutely HORRIBLE product quality.
I recently bought 2 suits and had a good $250-$300 in each suit and all the accessories. At that point, I thought it would be nice to keep them in a nice protector. Completely satisfied with the purchase. For me, this will ONLY be in my closet so I can't attest to its travel worthiness if you were flying with it. I love the see-thru pocket so I can identify the suit quickly, a sturdy hanger and two pockets at the bottom. I believe I saw a photo of someone having shoes in those pockets. I think that is pushing it because I'm a size 13 and there is no way a pair of shoes is going to fit in one of those pockets PLUS it would be undue stress on the overall construction. I love having everything for each suit self-contained. I put my socks and under garmets in one pocket, my tie, pocket square, shoe horn, cuff links, handkerchief in the other. If I need to head out for a family funeral or wedding, it's great knowing I can grab my shoes, this protector and get on the road.
I paired these hanging garment bags with a collapsible hamper for my husband's weeks long business trip. He was able to simply hang the bags instead of unpacking or rummaging through a suitcase. He could grab his clothes in the morning and toss them in the hamper at night. Come laundry day, his portable hamper was easy to lug to the laundromat. When it was time to come home, he was able to toss the hamper in the trunk with his dirty clothes and leave his clean ones in the garment bags. It worked out great and was definitely worth the investment.
Bought the garment bag to protect the orchestra dress for my child and it was delivered before the performance date. It has ample storage where you can place accessories like shoes, but do not overload the accessory compartments with heavy items because it will put a lot of strain on the mesh/net-like material which is keeping the stored items in place. The value of this item is it can be easily carried by teens because you can fold it and keep the dress wrinkle-free.
Not the highest quality or durability, but suitable for car trips. If I were travelling by plane or train I would buy a better quality bag. We also use them to store seldom used clothing to keep the dust off. For what you pay, they are worth the money.
I love this item! Perfect to carry my uniforms for my gigs, or my suit when traveling… FYI the mesh hag will not be able to close with both shoes in one same bag, at least it doesn’t work for me (shoe size 10). I have a separate shoe carry bag that I hang onto the garment bag and it works perfectly.
Amazon always asks for reviews of products immediately after purchase. In some cases, how could you possibly know? This travel bag is, supposedly, designed for long-term usage. 'Way too soon to know its durability... hence, the "midpoint" star... and all the other ratings. At first blush, I have an early thumbs-up. These appear to be pretty rugged with an almost canvas-like feel. The stitching seems to be good. The zippers are OK... I think. Overall, I'm satisfied and probably pleased with the purchase.
