The true strength of This Time Next Year is the characters. Quinn and Minnie are flawed, relatable and grounded. Add to them a colourful cast of secondary characters and you've got yourself a great read.
This book felt like a warm hug, it captivated me and I was unable to put it down. You follow Quinn and Minnie's lives over the course of a year; there is laughter, let downs and great triumphs. This was an absolute pleasure to read and I can't wait to see more from Sophie Cousens.
I received a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.
