I was worried that this might be a little to "sciencey" for me, but I found it impossible to put down from start to finish. It's a relatively easy book to read, yet has some really interesting concepts that the author communicates effectively. The premise is interesting - The protagonist, Ryland Grace, wakes up in a ship with almost no memory. Using established scientific methods, he figures out where he is and what his mission is, and then remembers that a microbe "Astrophage" is quickly destroying Earth's sun, and it's up to him save the world.
