Probably the best book I have ever read in my life, I laid out a nice three mat foam tile set along with a thick long stretched blanket in Markeaton Park. Read the first 20 pages and thought hmmm, then after that I was hooked.
I finished the book in just 2-3 days.
What the book says makes me change my WHOLE outlook on life completely
Having first read Many Lives Many Masters which I couldn’t put down, I wondered if I might then be underwhelmed by anything else I read by Brian Weiss. Why did I even think that! Another absolutely fascinating read which broadens the mind, and brings hope as well as comfort. Love is indeed all that’s real. As a Clinical Hypnotherapist myself, this brings an added dimension to the work I do; additionally, I’ve recently been in a soul mate relationship which was inexplicable from the start and I wanted to look deeper in to it. I’m so glad that I bought this book. A long with Dr Bernie Siegel, Brian Weiss is fast becoming one of my favourite teachers..
The book came well before the stated date. I have no complaint about its condition, it was almost new looking. I found it a bit slow at the beginning but kept going with it as I was so interested to find out how they met up in this life. I have read more interesting books on this subject but I would still recommend it as worth reading.
This book was entertaining. I read the past lives version as well. For me, it's hard to trust this author. I went for a plr after I read the book out of Intrique and with an open mind. I felt it was alot of work and creativity from me , put into my session. I'm not too creative especially on the spot, so when my therapist asked questions sometimes it was hard to find answers. I felt like I was making up a story as I go. I don't think it was real but it was fun.
The book is easy to read and you will really enjoy it if you are into after life stories/beliefs. However I find the story to be a mere excuse to keep digging into a really interesting and controversial subject, which I get, but it takes way too long for the story to come to some solid meaning. But don’t get wrong, it is a beautiful read!
After having read "Many lives, Many Masters", by the same author, I wanted to go deeper in the same subject(reincarnation) -which indeed is one of my favourite ones. How many times have felt that you know somebody just by looking through his/her eyes? How many times times have you become someone's brother or sister just out of choice, not because you are related? and even more touching, how many times have you felt lonely (desperately looking for a companion of life) and seemed never to find him/her? This book shows -by means of an example- that there will be always someone waiting for you -that the ones that love you have always found your way and will always find it; much more important than matter is spirit and spirit does not die. Love always finds its way. "And now I can see... the memories of years gone by, the memories of love, the memories of love". I strongly recommed this book for all of them who want to understand life and death mysteries and break the paradigms and prejudices that blind our ways.
I still have a part left to read as I have several books on the go at one time. Just like the author's other book I read, 'Many Lives and Many Masters' this one uplifts one's spirits and gives hope and takes one back to one's own experiences and makes one feel that their is hope. I like to come back to review once I have finished reading it. I have no hesitation recommending it to others.
