We're both a little cynical of diets and this seemed to be more educational rather than strict. The book showed up pretty soon after we ordered it and we read through it within a few days. It's simple to understand, has some encouraging anecdotes from clients and lays out your daily menu for the first 20 days. We've been on it now for just over 10 days and I've lost 9lbs while my wife has lost 5lbs. It's all about food choices and what works for you as an individual, not working out like a maniac and starving yourself. This is not a fad, it's a lifestyle choice. Would recommend this book without hesitation.
Excellent idea and I have followed the twenty day programme to good effect, however I was in America at the time so it was easier to source all the ingredients mentioned. Most of them can be obtained here but not all. The idea seems sound and from my experience actually works, be warned however you do have to follow it quite precisely and there is quite a lot of cooking involved, I am not sure how easily it would fit in with a really busy life.
This is a good book and I think would genuinely help you lose a lot of weight if you stuck to it. Sadly, I only made to the end of day 2 on the cleanse as I felt too hungry and had a terrible headache!
