This book is a great and an important read for kids of all ages and backgrounds. I just received my copy, and immediately sent a copy each to 2 friends. And it will be next gifts to every friend with kids or with a classroom of kids for the foreseeable future. Love the language, ideas and message.
Absolutely wonderful. I can't wait to share this with my students when we go back to school. I love the vocabulary used! Kids NEED this! And the illustrations are great examples that kids can understand and relate to. In the back of the book, there are great discussion questions and examples to use with your little ones. I might even focus on one letter per week next year and dive deeper into each one. Maybe students could illustrate their own example for each letter through the year and in the end, have their own alphabet for humanity book!
It’s beautifully done. And I especially love that there is a very simplified definition for each word so that we as parents aren’t left stumbling over an attempt to explain these powerful words. I will definitely be buying these as birthdays come!
I bought more children's books than I can count. All of them entertaining to my kids but this book is the absolute best. She learned a new words and new feelings command it kept her interested. The questions and thought-provoking sections in the back were wonderful.
This book is wonderfully put together with awesome illustrations by Daniela Sosa and easy to understand text. I love it! Leesa McGregor dedicated the book to all the children of the world. I was already sold on that. Thanks for creating a much needed ABC book on compassion.
Bought this book for my 4 year old grandson who loves to read. Very cute book, great message. Love that the book has a different take on ABC’s with humanity meanings. Would buy again and will buy it as a gift for other young children.
