Decent telescope with terrible viewfinder
Reviewed in Australia on 3 November 2021
The telescope is quite decent for the price with one exception which makes it very hard to use overall. The viewfinder mounting is just terrible. The finder is only attached to the telescope tube using 2 screws which are unable to keep it in a stable position. Holding or even just touching the finder can very easily shift it, rotate etc. and even slightest position change misaligns the finder and the telescope main optics which in result makes finding anything in the main eyepiece extremely difficult as what you see in the finder is not what you see in the main optics. If Celestron would only design proper mount for the finder that would keep it stable in a fixed position it would be quite a decent telescope. But that one, but hugely important, component makes it very hard to use. Disappointing.
