I bought 3 of them 2 years ago and one of the hanging brackets broke so I bought a new one. I don't think they were made to last for years. They serve their purpose for a time period and then, need to be replaced.
This shoe rack does the trick.. can fit 2 shoes in one pocket if they're flats, 1 in each pocket if they're bigger/heels. Only bummer is the hooks that sit on the opposite side of your door scratch the top of the door and leave marks... something you might want to consider before buying.
I bought three of these, hoping they would be similar to other bags I bought in the past. They are incredibly light and flimsy. The biggest disappointment is the metal frame that holds the bag in shape and hangs the garments. It is very light wire (think of the wire used in cheap laundry shirt hangers) that bends easily. I transferred clothing from one of my current garment bags but had to stop when it was about half full, because the new bag just couldn't handle the weight of the heavy coats. Similarly, the plastic exterior is incredibly thin and lightweight. I was very careful not to stretch or tear it, because I can see that a little abuse and I'll have a hole. I'm sure that a hungry mouse would have no trouble chewing a hole in the plastic. Overall, these bags are a disappointment. They were low-cost, which was good, but I'm sure I'll need to replace them in six months or a year. One of the challenges buying items like this is that the descriptions and photos are all glowing, but without actually knowing the thickness of the materials there's no way to know how it will work in practice. I've given this one three stars because the price is so low -- but you get what you pay for. I need to use two of them to hold what I stored in one better-quality bag, and I have no confidence that it will hold up over time.
First off... when I received this product I thought it was broken. It took me a good while to stand it up and make it stable enough to hold the blanket. I have a really large heavy duty blanket and this holds the blanket fine. The plastic is hard and it only has one zipper. Not 2 for a storage case this size. The plastic also has a smell. I think I probably would have preferred a cloth comforter bag and paid the extra money. As I said it will get the job done. But I m not a fan...
I purchased several of these under bed storage bags, like a sucker. I use them to store all the baby/toddler clothes that I'm not ready to let go of. I do not overpack these bags, but on all of them the seams have frayed or ripped, leaving gaping holes. I used Gorilla tape to close it up, but at almost $20 per bag I wish the zippered portion was constructed better. I can't speak to how much it keeps out mold and mildew because since the seams ripped on some of them I had to throw out a bunch of clothes due to that musty basement smell. I washed and recovered what I could and now they live under a guest bed in a controlled climate. PLUSES: I bought them because it is SO easy to see what is in them because they are completely clear. When I have to dig in to one of the bags to get clothes for a mom friend it is easy to see what is in what. Also, the rope handles at the ends are cute.
This garment bag serves the purpose, but it lacks a still bottom to hold it away from the hanging clothes. It is not as rugged/high quality as I have in old garment bags that I have had for many years. I did like that I can see what is haning without having to open it.
