Short life :( waste of money, we need to buy more already! :(

I bought 2 and they didn't even last a year. They have lost their elasticity so are now too big & stretchy. We wash them after every use to get the chlorine or salt out of them and air dry them for longer life. We do not use them all of the time, so are every disappointed they did not even last a year.... and the decal started peeling off after about 6 months. :(

I bought this shirt 2 years ago a size bigger so it would last longer. It is still alive in ok condition.
2 year later the color still runs quite a bit. It still colors the bathtub or towels it came in contact with.
Sand does got trapped in the material as other costumers state too, but I have not owned a rash guard yet where this did not happen.

I was a bit disappointed in this rash guard. I have one from the same brand (Kanu) for myself- Ive had it for years and its great! So I thought I would trust the brand and purchase one for my daughter. However she has had it for less than 2 weeks (given we do swim about every other day) and the fabric is picking and balling apart. We have had other rash guards from Target or Walmart that have lasted years- sad that this one was more expensive and lasted less than 2 weeks. Waste of money.

We bought the uv sun protection swim shirts in orange and hot pink. Not great protection from sun. Somewhat thin. My kids still get a tan under the shirt. One of my kids uses a uv protection shirt that we bought from Rapids water park and THAT is the real thing. He takes his rapids swim shirt off at the end of an 8 hour day @ the water park (or beach, etc) and he's completely white but tanned on his hands (because that's the only part of him still exposed to the sun). Also, the ink from both shirts leaks. So be careful when tossing them in your dirty laundry hamper because you'll stain all your other clothes.

Bought this rash guard for my daughter for our Caribbean cruise. Bought size 10 for my 9yr old - and it fits well. The shirt itself is fine, but the logo started to peel off after the first day. So I took off 2 stars for the logo issue.

We bought 2 other rash guards from the same brand and the logo is fine on those. So it only seems to be an issue in the Coral one.

Fades fast

I wasn't sure how to rate this product. The fit was perfect, color super bright and good price. The only issue is it gets dye on other clothes. This happens in the washing machine even through it was washed 5+ times. Also, I had the swim shirt wrapped up in a wet towel with a bright yellow swim shirt (same brand) and swimsuit and shorts. The pink dye got all over everything including the towel. The towel did sit wet for 7 hours.

I love the shirts now for over swimteam suits during regular training. However, the first time I washed it, the color ran. Also the picture on the front peeled off the first time my daughter wore this one (not the yellow one though...?). Lightweight though which is nice.

Update December 5th, I threw the yellow one away too because the colors never stopped running. Ruined several other clothing items. And I have washed it over 20 times...
