I swear by these for myself (32E) and find them true to size or ever so slighly neat, so bought a 30 for my petite but growing 12yro - it is way too small around the ribcage for her, it won’t even tie! I wonder if the one I got was perhaps wrongly labelled. Unfortunately I can’t return it as she ripped the label off when trying it on and I don’t think I’ll be able to pass it on either given how tiny it is! :-(. Cannot fault the speedy service though, and other than the size issue with this particular bra, I can hand on hear say there is not a better sportsbra out there than the Ultimate Run Bra 👍🏼.
Sizing is all wrong. Despite the reviews I thought I'd order one but in a larger size. Wish I'd not bothered. I cant fasten the back up at all. It wont reach all the way around even on the lowest setting. Such a shame because loved the feel of the fabric and the colour
I now own two of these bras: as a big girl (36F), these finally provided me with minimised bounce for running, and I now refuse to cycle, do weights, or horse ride without these bras on too. All my older sports bras have been retired! As with all Shock Absorbers, these do run small: I'm glad I bought my first one in a lingerie shop, as it takes 38E to fit my 36F chest correctly. Buying online once I know my size has been great though, as sizes really are consistent.
Best bras I have come across especially for larger breasts. The clip on the racer back is brilliant and makes it a dream to get on and off despite being fiddly, when usually sports bras can be hard to get off after a work out. I settled on a 36f despite the 38f being slightly more comfortable and a slightly better fit (as I intend to loose a little weight and the 38 could not have been worn any tighter) I usually wear a 34G and have to wear this 36 on its loosest setting.
After buying my first I have brought 2 more and wear them for much increased comfort when at work too.
I was worried being ample busted that this was not going to support me but my goodness I love it. The fit around your chest is slightly smaller but I still got my normal size and have done a couple of 6-8m runs in it with no chafing! I’m buying another one. I have to say shock absorbers have not disappointed at all!
A bit snug, but what you would expect for a running bra. I can't use the top closure however as it puts a lot of strain on my shoulders and back but perhaps when I have lost a few inches and it doesn't fit so snuggly it will be alright. Good construction as what you would expect from shock Absorber but very pricey for what it is.
This sports bra is the best for running ang your ladies are a little on the large size. Definitely keeps them under control which makes running a lot more comfortable. The only downside is that the bra has to be quite tight to give adequate support which means it can take a few minutes to do up sometimes, especially if you haven't got anybody there to assist. Worth it though for the support.
