I really like the legging. It is a very good quality. I am giving them 3 stars because the fit does not seem to be right . I have a pair of mediums, but they tend to slide down . They are comfortable in the legs . The small is for size 4-6 which is my size range, but again, the waist slips down and the legging feels a tad tight. I sent one pair back and kept the other because I wore them a couple of times. Otherwise, I would send these back as well. I am also 61 . That being said , I am small and a runner, so I am disappointed in these leggings. Maybe it is because I am older and they fit a younger woman better.
I’ve been ordering these leggings for about a decade. Unfortunately, I think they changed the fabric a bit. Past leggings would get softer and softer with washing over time. My last two pairs, however, have gotten more stiff and shrunken a bit (no, I haven’t gained weight). I’m going to look around for a new brand 😢
Very nice material, and they fit my waist just above mid rise, which I like. On me, with my covid belly, the waist does roll down when sitting and working. I'm more 'apple' shaped. These just didn't work for me.
These pants fit well, but fit more on the legging side than the ponte side. They have a little sheen to them due to their synthetic makeup. I was surprised by their thinness. They seem to be holding up well, and don't collect quiet as much dust and fuzz as some of my other black pants. However, there is no cotton in these pants - so they are not very breathable. Not quiet sure they're worth the $40.
They don't look nearly as cool when you're wearing them as they do in the picture. I would not recommend wearing them with just a regular tshirt as shown in the picture. I'm considering sending them back. But I do live where it gets pretty cold so I might hang on to them to wear under other pants.
Edit: I wore these for the first time today and the leg openings are different sizes - one ankle is tight and the other is somewhat baggy. This is definitely a deal breaker.
I bought these in XS black. I'm 5'4" 99lbs and they're slightly big in the waist and slightly long. The material does have a sheen to it, almost like underarmor, but dressier and very thick/opaque. The back pockets are a nice touch. I wouldn't wear them without a longer shirt/blouse because the waist in the front is a little odd and makes it pretty obvious that they aren't pants. I think they would fit better if they made an XXS.
I'm giving these pants a 3 because I wanted ponte pants. When I see "ponte" I expect a quailty fabric that I can wear with a sweater and boots, or at least outside of workout type environment . The fabric on these is more like workout leggings. I am going to keep them and wear them with sneakers and workout gear. Regarding the fit. I am 5'10, I ordered a small in grey and they are like high waters on me and loose in the hips. My hips measure 35.5.
Beware...if the back of your legs have and my flaws the grey picks up every dimple!
