To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Bought these to add support following an operation resulting in mild lymphoedema. Intended for occasional use in a swimming pool. Although not tried in a pool yet (hence 4 stars) according to the specification and other reviews they can be used for this purpose. They have been worn for a full day and are very supportive and comfortable. If they work in the pool I will be purchasing a black pair as I only bought the pink because they were on offer!
Bought two pair of these for my wife off an "add-on item" for $4.98 each. She's only worn one other type we bought at a runners store for $30.00 which she really likes. After trying these she was happy on her short run (10-miles) they were comfortable and hand washed well. Worth a shot for the price, time will tell how they hold up.
Seem to work to keep my calves in line after a calf strain. Quality is good haven't had any problems there either. 4 stars only for value. They're expensive for the amount of material you get. Not sure where the $40 goes. I dont regret the purchase because they do work, but I wont be stocking up on them at this price. To have a backup pair in case I cant do laundry on back to back days costs another $40. Ouch.
I noticed that when I was running 30+ miles and staying on my feet the rest of the day while wearing my Injinji tall socks, my calves were still not sore. The Injinji socks are too thick to wear in hot weather, though, so I ordered the thin 2XU sleeves - they are a little tighter and work well for long runs, but I've learned NOT to wear them during track speed work.
Okay, the product is for my son. Based on the measurements provided I opted for XS. In truth I should have gone with small. For myself, being a petite adult female I need the medium. Also I was surprised at how short they are. I thought ankle to knee but this is above ankle to mid calf (just over the curve). Who am I, though. Son loves them.
