Not at all happy with the fit...there is Zero support (my boobs hang over the bottom panel),plus I bounce when I walk.... and a reinforced seam at the back is irritating and painful. I waited until I wore it a couple of times B4 this review...and went back to my old one. Big disappointment.
Next to no support, it is comfortable but the straps don’t adjust so as the day went on the straps starting falling down.. I was excited to try this but get disappointed and I have worn it so can’t return
This is a wonderful, comfortable bra, so I bought a second. But buyer, beware. The bra bought through Amazon prime is not the same as the one that came from Atlantic Hosiery purchased through Amazon. The bargain price from Atlantic Hosiery was no bargain. There were runs in the fabric before I even put it on. The company replaced the bra but it was the same thing with the replacement. I think I would have given the first bra 5 stars, but Amazon shouldn't be selling damaged merchandise, so it's only 2 stars. I'd give Atlantic Hosiery the boot.
11/26/17: In the past, when I ordered this #3488, I got style 3484 (no foam-lined cups), although the product listing indicated I was buying style 3488 which has foam-lined cups. Today, I was assured that I would always get 3488 when ordering from this listing. Yay! I really love this bra, and wanted to get more of them after wearing out the ones I purchased last year. 11/27/17: although the supervisor promised I would get style 3488 (black, XXL) if I ordered this product yesterday, when it arrived today it was style 3484. Very very disappointed, as my fellow larger ladies will understand why the lack of support in style 3484 is not equivalent to the support and concealment in the foam-lined cups of style 3488. When I telephoned today, the supervisor promised to start another "Andon cord" for this product. I'm looking forward to hearing back from them when they complete the procedure.
I ordered my normal size (40D) and the bra fit true to size. The material is soft but snags and pills easily. The bra already had a snag out of the package because one of the plastic tags had caught the material on one of the cups and pulled the threads, leaving an annoying line across the front. I agree with other reviews, the material is too stretchy and provides no support. It may work better for smaller cup sizes but I do not like it. Also, I like that the cups are lined, however, the padding doesn't cover the full cup area and with as stretchy as the material is you just end up with a weird outline around your breast that shows through a t-shirt. If you have a larger bust and want a nice wire-free bra you may want to keep looking.
Gorgeous Navy color, very soft on skin, good support for non-athletic activities for “dense tissue”. Have been using the Bali bra style 3488 for years, LOVE them! However, upon looking BEFORE 2nd wearing (1 launder inside lingerie bag on delicate cycle in front load HE machine, wore 2 days, 2nd launder same way, then 2nd wearing) I discovered the serger stitching on the inside of the cup (stitching that finishes/covers the edge/outline of the foam cup liner) is unraveled ~4 inches! It cannot be the laundering, I have cared for all my other Bali #3488’s the exact same way, for at least a year (these are the only style/brand I wear anymore, due to nerve damage along my ribs making other brands and underwires too painful) and have never lost any stitching nor had anything but the most minor pilling on the outside of the cups! I’d say each of my older Bali #3488’s have been laundered this way 20-30 times per year, so this is a clear manufacturing defect. Too late to return!
