These are the only pants I have found in a long while that have fit both my hips and waist. They're super comfortable and I'm not sure why the black ones are only $15, but how can you beat that? I only wish there were more colors.
For size reference, I bought these in the 8 short and I am 5'2'' with a 31" waist 42" hips. They're absolutely perfect.
A lot of the reviews suggest ordering a size or two smaller. But I’m usually a 12-14 and I ordered a 10 but they gave me instant muffin top and I was very uncomfortable. Plus the images didn’t show that one version of the black pants are short and the others are regular so I accidentally bought a short 10 so they ended up very small.
The quality of pant is great! I read the reviews and found two women ordered a 14 saying that they wear a 16 and have my exact measurements, I ordered a 14, too tight. However, they are wearable and I will most likely keep them as they feel like they will maybe stretch out as I wear them. I've also been sick and therefore lazy for the last week and I feel fatter lol. Perhaps they are a true size 15? But I would say order your size. As far as curvy fit goes, great, no gaps, no weird tightness in the thighs. Length is wonderful! I'm 5' and they just slightly touch the floor, and lay over my shoe nicely. I'll be ordering a 16 as well to see what the size difference is. For reference I am 5' tall, 190 lbs. 40-35-48.
And I’m glad I did. They fit me very well. Unfortunately I carry my weight in my tummy. The pair I bought fits me well there. I have just a little excess material in the saddle bag area because I don’t fill that area out as much. I’m 5’5” and purchased the short length. That’s the right size for me. I like the style of the waist. It’s wider and has three buttons in front. That’s a flattering style for someone with a tummy. Material is medium weight. I bought the black. It’s a true black. I found the sizing to be true to size as well. I like the black so well I just ordered the gray.
Pros: really nice fabric, much like gabardine, with some stretch; great for curvier figures. Cons: the short is SHORT. More like 28” than 29”. They don’t quite cover the top of my foot and get caught on the tongue of my loafers. Ok with flats. I’m 5’4” for reference. I almost sent them back, but I might be able to take the hem down .50 inch.
Website description, at least when I purchased these, as well as two other pairs of pants from Rafaella, did not disclose the fact that the pockets were not functional. Used some word before 'pockets', but when I received them, saw nothing would be able to fit in them except maybe one key. Seems like a trend to take front pockets away from pants. Not sure why. Wish website descriptions would be more upfront. Had to return 3 pairs and will avoid name brands that aren't "clear".
I needed an extra pair of work pants for my job. I highly recommend these. I do suggest getting a size bigger than the size you currently wear. I normally wear a size 12 I went up to a size 14 and they fit perfectly on me. And they are super comfortable and not too heavy and I like them since they are pull ons and they stay on me throughout the day. I recommend and they are not see through either. I got the khaki color.
Bought these on sale (the shorter length ones) and were very much worth the price. It's hard finding pants that fit curvy people and this one is pretty good. I bought my normal size and they fit, not too tight.
I am 5'4", 140 pounds and have a smaller waist with wide hips, larger thighs and a pronounced bootie. These pants are both flattering on my curves and modest, which is a hard find for me! The slight flair on the legs makes these pants excellent for boots.
