A little too baggy to ride in

I liked the look of these bootcut jeans specifically to ride in. However the photo is a little misleading as they are quite baggy and not fitted in the upper part of the leg as expected. The quality is fine but overall too lose to comfortably ride in.

I got Wrangler, Levis and Ariat to try. All bootcut, size 8. Was looking for midrize, non stretch, blue jeans. Nothing fancy.
Ariat-the most expensive of the 3, twice the price of Levis. Material medium weight, color a bit too washed out in places, not like classic jeans. Material was somewhat stretchy, not too bad, very nice tight stitching on the sides on hips (perfect for slimming), gaudy chunky stitching on back pockets and sides, sloppily made inside of the belt from a calico fabric, threads and fabric hanging out. Pour workmanship. Sitting below the waist, but with a gap in the back. Not worth it.
Levis-used to be my favorite, but now was the worst of the 3. The fabric was so stretchy that these weren't jeans, they are leggings, very thin fabric. These were sitting below the waist, which is what I was looking for. Color was too washed out for a pair of dark jeans. Runs too small.
Wrangler-best of the 3, but still not right. Fabric was solid weight and not stretchy. But no stitching on the sides (hips) to smooth the lines. Sitting a little above the waist, think old people style, (just add suspenders). Best color of all 3, nice blue jeans color, uniform.
Which one did I buy? none of the above. Still searching.

Sizing is a challenge

I'm 5'-8" and 125 lbs, with a fairly slim build. I've now ordered this twice and had to return both pairs. The first pair I ordered was a size 27 regular. I could get into them, but they were a little tight and although they were about the right length, I was worried about them being too short after washing so I returned that pair to order a 28 long. I just received the 28L in the mail and it is actually a 28 short... The outside tags all say 28L but they were high-waters when I tried them on and I checked the inside tag which clearly labeled them as 28S. They were also a little baggy in the butt and hips. Planning on returning and giving up ordering on these for now.

Super flared...NOT true Bootcut

I love Ariat jeans but these are NOT bootcut. I own many pairs of bootcut jeans and they are supposed to have just enough flare at the bottom to wear your boots under comfortably. These are like disco bell bottoms. The flare on these is ridiculous and it looks ridiculous. I am going to return them.

They are really cute jeans and I've been trying to find the right size that fits. This was my 3rd attempt and although I finally found a pair that fit, there 2 holes in the butt area. Not the kind that are designed to be in the jeans. Not sure how did these got past quality control. Really disappointed. Sending them back and I'm done at this point.

Cute but awful odor

I bought 29. I’m 5’6” 140 lbs and they fit great. Husband says very flattering but they had the worst odor. I washed 5 times and sprayed so much stuff on them. Finally it’s not noticeable as bad now. If they did not look so cute I would have sent back. Smell was terrible!!!!! N

Exaggerated leg cut

The first order was supposed to be a straight cut 31”S jean; however, I received a boot cut 32”S. I returned them to get what I thought I was ordering, but was sent the same pair. I like the sizing and the material and especially the 8” rise. I hate high waists. The boot cut is really wide almost more exaggerated than a flare or bell bottom. It’d be nice if they sold straight leg jeans.
