These jeans were the exact fit I was looking for. The deep colour and fad was just right. I’m only giving these jeans 3 stars because the manufacturing smell was over the top. I had to wash these jeans several times before I could wear them. After so many washes the deep colour I loved is extremely faded and still there is a slight odour super disappointed
La verdad es que no es que se vea mal, simplemente a mí me gusta que los pantalones queden exactamente a la mitad entre el ombligo y la entrepierna y este queda Justo a nivel del ombligo (al menos en mi talla)... la regresé.
A bit disappointed. It's really hard to find good quality, thick denim these days. In the small town where I live now, there is only one style of one brand (Wrangler) of women's jeans that both fit me and have denim thick enough to stand up to farm work (come to think of it, I don't think any of the other jeans have anything close to thick denim). I see plenty of reviewers commenting that this is good quality, thick denim - and I agree it's better than most of what is sold these days - but in my opinion "thick" denim is just not what it used to be. I guess I'm getting a little old. Ha. Nonetheless, given my limited jeans options, I think I'll keep them and see how they do. Fit is pretty good - I'm 5'6," 105 lbs, usually wear about 4 if a little big on me - bought 26R in these and fit is totally acceptable. Could probably stand a 25 (and have a pair coming so we'll see). Tip for other prospective buyers: I think the trick here is to go by hip measurement, rather than waist - my waist is actually 28" at it's smallest point, but my hips are only 34.5" at their largest point (though I don't think I'd attempt 0 US/24 which lists 34.5" for hips). Use the size chart! (Conversion from US sizes seems to work too.) Inseam is a bit long (I'm 5'6", usually 32" is about as long as I can go, these regulars are listed at 33," I measured them at 33 1/4") - on me they drag on the ground in stocking feet and are close to dragging in my boots. My bad - I should've checked Ariat's listed inseam lengths. I agree with other reviewers that the boot cut is a bit wide - I wouldn't go so far as to call it a flared bottom, but wider than I'd like.
They are somewhat comfy (they do go “in” a little at the top) but it’s DEFINITELY NOT boot cut. This is a flared jean. I had to get adjustments done because I looked like a hippy. I own a ranch and raise cattle so I have many pairs of jeans. I usually buy in store but given the circumstances of COVID I couldn’t. plus on 1 of the pockets it was a soft spot in the pocket and on the 2nd time I wore them it tore. Thank God it was at the top of the pockets and not on the bum.
I was so excited to get these jeans. I bought 2 more from Cabela's that were slightly different (1 size up for one and one low cut). When I was finally able to try them on, I had these impressions:
Low Cut 33 Regular --> Loved these... Definitely a little long, but fit nice. I would not classify as low cut.
33 Regular Bootcut Mid Rise (Amazon) --> Probably my least favorite. They fit awkward and we're tighter than the low cut which was crazy weird because I have an hour glass figure... If anything the low cut should have been tight. I also found these to be close to a high waist and also super long again. I get normal inseams all the time, but clearly this brand considers regular to be tall.
34 Regular ----> These were nothing really special. Super long again. I honestly thought I'd be safe and get a bigger size because my weight had been fluctuating. Turns out though that they stretch VERY easily, so my 33s were just fine.
Overall in trying 3 different pairs: -->Expect Stretch! These will make it feel more like wide leg instead of boot cut very quickly! They loosen up around the knees quickly. --> Dont size up... Once again, they will stretch! --> The Regulars run long, so if you are 5'6" like me... Get a short. --> Keep your tags and receipt. I'd you're experience is anything like mine, you'll be kicking yourself if you don't.
