I swear by these for myself (32E) and find them true to size or ever so slighly neat, so bought a 30 for my petite but growing 12yro - it is way too small around the ribcage for her, it won’t even tie! I wonder if the one I got was perhaps wrongly labelled. Unfortunately I can’t return it as she ripped the label off when trying it on and I don’t think I’ll be able to pass it on either given how tiny it is! :-(. Cannot fault the speedy service though, and other than the size issue with this particular bra, I can hand on hear say there is not a better sportsbra out there than the Ultimate Run Bra 👍🏼.
I run between a 30 and 32 E/F bra size in every manufacturer. Except, apparently, this one. I Sizing wayyy off on the band, and I definitely don't mean that in a vain sense. Ladies, size up your bands significantly if you plan to try this bra. The weird thing is I know I've owned Shock Absorber bras in the past and definitely never had this sizing problem.
Skimming through other reviews, it seems like most people who have had band sizing issues have been around my size range (I ordered a 30F UK/30G US), so maybe it's just an issue with some sizes?
Anyway, the bra is sturdily made and seems like it would be very good to run in -- if I could get it on. I got out my tape measure to make sure I hadn't been hallucinating or something when I last measured myself, but nope - a 30 band is actually a little generous for me, even; I could probably get away with a 28 in most other bras. The band on this bra measures 20" unstretched at its widest setting, and I can stretch it to 25-26" with my hands.
I'll be returning it; still debating whether or not I want to try again. I'm not sure whether I need to go with a smaller cup if I get a larger band, or just up the band size - normally it'd obviously be the first, but they're clearly doing different math than I am.
It was way too tight. I couldn't even clasp it shut, and that was after ordering a band size up from my normal size. Nicely made bra though, and I would keep it if it weren't so damn tight. Will be returning it, unfortunately.
The price is lower than most sports bras and the support was decent. The band on the bottom runs way small. I usually wear a 34 on the tightest hook (in all bras) and for this I was on the loosest hook and it was still a little tight. When worn just to work out, the support is there for larger bust but I put it on a few hours before I worked out and just "wearing around" was uncomfortable. So, great for a workout but not a sports bra I would lean to for wearing outside of short time frame.
